The fact is the LEFT has been able to manipulate the LAME-Stream media in covering up their sexual predilections better than the RIGHT. With the emergence of the New Media, I don’t think this will be working out so well for them. Look recently at Al Gore and John Edwards.

Well, they were right about John Edwards, Rielle Hunter and their baby.

In a bombshell new development in the AL GORE sex scandal — broken EXCLUSIVELY earlier today by The ENQUIRER — the Oregon District Attorney says there’s “the possibility of a criminal prosecution.”

 In a statement just released by Multnomah County (OR.) D.A. Michael D. Schrunk, the official reveals that “our office was notified by the Portland Police Bureau that further investigation of this matter had been conducted by it in 2009 and we were provided with the reports from that further investigation.”

 Schrunk goes on to add: “If the complainant and the Portland Police Bureau wish to pursue the possibility of a criminal prosecution, additional investigation by the Bureau will be necessary and will be discussed with the Portland Police Bureau.”

And, Al Gore and his wife of 42 years, Tipper, recently announced they were divorcing.

So, who knows?

But, if I were Gore I think I might want to get in front of this story, unlike John Edwards.

Maybe John Edwards can start paying some legal child support too.

Sources have told WRAL News that they expect former U.S. Sen. John Edwards to admit that he is the father of his former mistress’ 18-month-old daughter.

Edwards, a two-time Democratic presidential candidate, confessed last August to having an affair with Rielle Hunter, who served as a videographer on Edwards’ 2008 campaign. He has denied fathering her daughter, saying his relationship with Hunter ended before the child was conceived.

The name of the girl’s father isn’t disclosed on her birth certificate.

Andrew Young, a long-time Edwards aide, initially claimed to be the father of Hunter’s child, but he is reportedly writing a book in which he will claim Edwards is the father.

A federal grand jury is investigating whether Edwards’ campaign funds were illegally paid to Hunter to keep quiet about the affair.

Hunter spent nine hours last Thursday at the federal courthouse in Raleigh, where the grand jury was meeting. She brought her daughter, Frances, with her.

I guess calling Edward’s crooked ass before a federal grand jury will prime the truth pump, so to speak.

My bet is that Edwards will end up paying some substantial fines for using campaign funds to keep Rielle Hunter quiet about their affair.

Why would any woman subject herself to this scrutiny?

And, on Oprah?

In the meantime, John Edwards is under investigation by the feds on possible campaign finance laws re: illegal use of campaign funds and Reille Hunter.

Of course, Flap would guess that 99 per cent of American women hope his sorry ass is thrown in jail.

Flap won’t be too cynical. But, how in God’s name could anyone come back into the political arena from this?

But, apparently Edwards is going to try.

Former U.S. Sen. John Edwards took another tentative step into the public spotlight tonight, speaking at Brown University about extreme poverty around the world and urging Americans to get involved in what he called a “fundamental moral issue.”

Edwards, a two-time candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, has struggled to get his message heard since a scandal about an affair he had with a former campaign staffer enveloped his personal life.

During 30 minutes of questions following tonight’s speech, just one person in the audience of nearly 600 came close to asking about the affair.

A student who said she organized for Edwards on campus and knocked on doors for him in New Hampshire asked whether politicians should be held to higher moral standards than the rest of the public.

The question sent murmurs through the crowd.

“I don’t think it’s for a candidate to decide what’s appropriate,” Edwards said. “It’s something for every American to decide for themselves.”

The Obama Administration and national Democrats in the Congress are wishing Edwards would just go away.

After all, look what they did to marginalize Howard Dean.
