Global War on Terror Watch: Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) Tied to Radical Islamic Clerics
The Jawa Report: Claim: Cat Stevens Financed Terrorists, Tied to Radical Clerics
The Jawa Report has obtained evidence that Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, was once connected to radical clerics Omar Bakri Mohammed & Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman. According to at least one credible source, he was also involved in terrorist financing.
In an online voice chat from exile in Lebanon where he fled after British authorities banned several groups connected to him, Bakri told followers that various prominent Muslims would once frequent his office. Among those listed is Cat Stevens.
Read it all.
Flap dosn’t think most Americans would want to purchase Cat Steven’s soon to be released CD if they knew the proceeds were to finance radical Islamic terrorist organizations that want to kill Americans.
Is there any wonder why he continues to be barred from the United States?
Oh yes and Flap repeats:
DO NOT BUY YUSUF ISLAM’S NEW CD!

Iran Nuclear Watch: Iran Broadcasts Drone Footage of United States Carrier
An image grab taken from Iran’s Al-Alam television station shows what the TV claims is a US aircraft carrier cruising in Gulf waters. Iran’s Arabic language television station broadcast footage it claimed showed a US aircraft carrier cruising in Gulf waters it said was taken by an unmanned Iranian drone.
AFP: Iran TV broadcasts ‘US ship spy plane footage’
Iran’s Arabic language television station broadcast footage it claimed showed a US aircraft carrier cruising in Gulf waters it said was taken by an unmanned Iranian drone.
The brief minute-long film, which was shown on Al-Alam television’s evening news bulletin, showed wobbly aerial footage of an aircraft carrier stacked with war planes as it sailed.
The television’s anchor said the film, the property of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard, showed a vessel from “the US fleet in the Persian Gulf“.
“A source in the Revolutionary Guard said the drone carried out its mission without US fighter pilots reaching it,” the television said.
It said there were 10 such films taken by the drone which showed “more precise information and details about military equipment, foreign forces, and their activities in the Persian Gulf.”
And America is supposed to be impressed how? Or threatened why?
What Iran did not show were the nuclear submarines in the Mediterranean Sea and Indian Ocean which have targeted Iran’s military centers with, for example, Trident II D-5 SLBM (UGM-133).
Should Iran attack a United States Aircraft carrier group, those missiles WILL fly.
A more likely scenario is an American/Israeli conventional attack upon Iran and the taking of Iranian oil field operations and the destruction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in the Iranian Persian Gulf port of Bushehr.
Iran shouldn’t threaten the United States over United Nations sanctions or whatever. The Great Satan may awake and bury them.
Update:Â
Readers at LGF say those are F-14s on the port bow—and that fighter was retired in February 2006.
Disinformation?
Perhaps….
Stay tuned……..A general view shows the Bushehr nuclear power plant in the Iranian Persian Gulf port of Bushehr, 1,200 Kms south of Tehran, in June 2006.
