AP: Giuliani says he’s the only fiscal conservative of the bunch

Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani told New Hampshire voters he’s the only fiscal conservative among the crowded field, emphasizing his record as New York mayor as an example of what he’d do as president.

Giuliani, speaking at his first New Hampshire house party, told an overflow crowd he cut taxes 23 times and still produced healthy budgets.

“I think I’ve practiced it more than any of my good friends who are running,” he said.
Giuliani pointed to New Hampshire as a model. “You know why you have one of the best economies in the country? Because you have no taxes.”

Rudy is correct.

McCain nor Romney are fiscal conservatives. Look at Rudy’s record of tax cuts in New York City and the success of its economy while he was Mayor.

And what else did Rudy address at the New Hampshire House Party?

Keeping private healthcare private:

The Democrats want to limit choice, the former mayor said.

“I think their motto is like continental Europe — they want us to be like France, or like Germany,” he continued. “Ever meet anyone who asked you for help getting into a French-German hospital?”

Iran:

Giuliani repeated his stance against Iran and said international pressure and a Reaganesque resolve will be the key to stopping the country from getting nuclear weapons.

“You’ve got to be able to say to Iran … No way, no how, are you getting nuclear weapons, no way, no how.”

Iraq War:

Giuliani also criticized congressional Democrats for voting against the war. “It makes no sense for a retreating army to announce a schedule for their retreat,” he said.

During a conversation with visitors, Giuliani acknowledged the war is unpopular, but said the Civil War was equally unpopular.

Stay tuned for another event in New Hamsphire tomorrow morning…….

But, since today is opening day for the New York Yankees, here are a couple of photos of Rudy from earlier in the day:

Flap was off today and watched the Yankees play the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Delmon Young started in right field for the Devil Rays.

Flap had the opportunity to coach Delmon when he was 12 and in youth baseball.

Is this some sort of sick joke? Giuliani is NOT strong on 2nd amendment and is NOT the only fiscal conservative. He is NOT a conservative by any stretch of the imagination.

RON PAUL never voted for a tax cut and thus has our support here in NH.

None of the three that Rudy is considering even comes CLOSE to the qualifications of Ron Paul, from Texas.

None of the three he referred to are anywhere NEAR acceptable republicans.

    Are you kidding me?

Ron Paul is not in the top tier and is a Libertarian.

And Rudy is in the mainstream on the Second Amendment.
