Rosie O’Donnell Watch: Leaving the View?

    rosie_barbara_2web

TMZ: Rosie Bids Adieu to “The View”

There is a strong buzz in Hollywood that Rosie O’Donnell will announce Wednesday (April 25th) that she is leaving “The View.”

If it happens, it’s likely Rosie will stick it out through the end of the season.

TMZ has spoken with multiple industry people who say the word is spreading and the info emanated from inside the show itself.

Rosie’s rep could not be reached for comment.

Rosie is too obnoxious, racist and crude for the Disney Corporation.

    So, she is out.

Rudy Giuliani Watch: Rudy – “America Will Be Safer with a Republican President”

    giulianiapril24lweb

Giuliani warns of ‘new 9/11’ if Dems win

Rudy Giuliani said if a Democrat is elected president in 2008, America will be at risk for another terrorist attack on the scale of Sept. 11, 2001.

But if a Republican is elected, he said, especially if it is him, terrorist attacks can be anticipated and stopped.

    The Quotes:

“If any Republican is elected president – – and I think obviously I would be the best at this – – we will remain on offense and will anticipate what (the terrorists) will do and try to stop them before they do it,” Giuliani said.

“But the question is how long will it take and how many casualties will we have?” Giuliani said. “If we are on defense (with a Democratic president,) we will have more losses and it will go on longer.”

“The Democrats do not understand the full nature and scope of the terrorist war against us.”

“America will (be) safer with a Republican president.”

“This war ends when they stop coming here to kill us!” Giuliani said. “Never ever again will this country ever be on defense waiting for (terrorists) to attack us if I have anything to say about it. And make no mistake, the Democrats want to put us back on defense!”

Giuliani said terrorists “hate us and not because of anything bad we have done; it has nothing to do with Israel and Palestine. They hate us for the freedoms we have and the freedoms we want to share with the world.”

Giuliani continued: “The freedoms we have are in conflict with the perverted, maniacal interpretation of their religion.” He said Americans would fight for “freedom for women, the freedom of elections, freedom of religion, and the freedom of our economy.”

Addressing the terrorists directly, Giuliani said: “We are not giving that up and you are not going to take it from us!”

“They were at war with us before we realized it, going back to 90s with all the Americans killed by the PLO and Hezbollah and Hamas,” he said. “They came here and killed us in 1993 (with the first attack on New York’s World Trade Center killing six people) and we didn’t get it. We didn’t get it that this was a war. Then Sept. 11, 2001 happened and we got it.”

After Rudy’s delivered line of “We are not giving that up and you are not going to take it from us!” the crowd assembled at the New Hampshire Rockingham County Lincoln Day Dinner thundered its approval.

    Flap awaits the Democrat response.

How about it Harry or Hillary? Barack?

Oh, yeah, almost forgot……Flap agrees with every quote.

Serve it up to the Dims, Rudy!

    Update:

These Lefty DimWits don’t get it, now do they?

    1. I don’t think this will sell very well to the American people. They’ve seen the number of terrorists in the world grow under Republican leadership. They’ve seen their world become much more dangerous. Where is his evidence, hmm? What proof does he have that we’re ‘at risk’ here? Does he think he’s another ‘decider’?

    2. From the moment the next Democratic President takes office, every Republican in America will be praying for another big terror attack like 9/11.

    3. Yeah, cause Rudy did such a good job of anticipating 9/11 and stopping it.

Did he include Mrs. Pelosi as one of the seven hundred nd sixt-nine virgins the little sheet heads get to play with? I am not sure I would have admitted my connection with the emeny. And Hizzoner responds to a NUTTER who provokes him:

Rudy’s first New Hampshire town hall meeting was mostly typical as these things go. Speaking in the jam-packed student center of a small college here, the former mayor parried the predictable planted questions — one young lady cited what she said was a past quote of Rudy’s on partial-birth abortion; he got a couple of unexpected queries — “what are we really going to do about” sexual predators? and his stance on the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA); and he took up the usual concerns — health care, jobs and immigration.

But the exchange — so civil it could have been held in one of the adjoining classrooms — took a much more lively turn when a local man, Marty Capodice, stood up to tick off his complaints with President Bush.

Capodice cited the administration’s actions on torture, the Geneva Convention, wiretapping and warrants to make his point that our rights were “being abridged in the name of the war on terror.”

After teasing the man about his assertion regarding the administration’s accessing of telephone records, the combative Rudy emerged.

“I think you have grossly exaggerated the case,” Giuliani responded, standing with mic in hand on a mini-riser in the middle of the room. and facing Capodice 10 feet away. “You gave an extremely exaggerated presentation of things.”

Then Giuliani launched into his usual rhetoric about the importance of staying “on offense” in the war on terror. But he wasn’t done with his questioner yet. Calling the U.S. reaction to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center “a very modest response,” Giuliani noted to Capodice that it was “the kind of response I think you’re suggesting.”

Continuing on his message, Giuliani was soon interrupted by a still-standing Capodice. “So no rights?”

At this, Giuliani raised the decibel level.

“That’s hardly no rights!” Hizzoner hit back before loudly rattling off the many freedoms Americans enjoy to the lustiest applause of the day.

Well, Rudy is NOT a wimp and a typical politico, now is he?

    Score one – Rudy.

Stay tuned for more LEFTY NUTTER hecklers……..

California Representative Elton Gallegly Watch: Retiring in 2008?

    mcclintockgalleglydecember1

California State Senator Tom McClintock, R-Thousand Oaks and California Representative Elton Gallegly – (R) CA 24th

    Gallegly retiring?

    Doubtful.

Though he reversed himself and committed to the 2006 campaign, Gallegly stated publicly that he would serve only one more term if elected. But shortly after his re-election that November, his staff said “retirement is not an option” in a comment to the Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call that was picked up by many other publications.

Gallegly already has filed a statement of candidacy for the 2008 race with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and had a hefty $800,000 on hand in his House campaign account at the start of April, according to his most recent campaign finance report.

But, should he……the heir apparent is Tom McClintock.

Michael Ramirez on Sheryl Crow and the One Square of Toilet Paper

Rosie to Sheryl Crow: “Have You Seen My Ass?”

The answer, presumably, is no — but Rosie made her point, pooh-poohing Sheryl Crow for suggesting that we all use just one square of toilet paper per trip to the loo.

Crow made her comments on her blog last week, and Rosie took a moment on this morning’s “The View” to express her incredulity at the supposedly enviro-friendly suggestion. “Have you seen my ass?!” bellowed Rosie, and Barbara Walters was good enough to warn viewers not to use their sleeves, another of Crow’s helpful suggestions.

    Ewwwww

Flap does not think he would shake hands with Crow either. No wonder Lance Armstrong had the better sense…….

    But, it WAS A JOKE!

Rasmussen Reports: 2008 Republican Presidential Primary

Last week, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Arizona Senator John McCain both gained support in the race for the GOP nomination. This week, the top four contenders all lost ground. But, through it all, Giuliani remains on top with a double digit lead.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national poll shows Giuliani with 28%, thirteen points more than McCain’s total of 15%. Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson remains undeclared but in third place with 12% support. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney remains slightly behind Thompson at 10%.

The stability in the GOP competition stands in stark contrast to the Democrats where Illinois Senator Barack Obama has gained ground steadily and is now tied with New York Senator Hillary Clinton.

    The GOP NUTS:

    Rudy – 28%

    McCain – 15%

    Thompson – 12%

    Romney – 10%

Rudy leads in the favorability/unfavorability polls:

    Rudy – 58%/38%

    McCain – 55%/39%

    Thompson – 35%/27%

    Romney – 32%/44%

The GOP field poll numbers have stabilized and Giuliani is clearly established as the front-runner.

    giulianiapril24aweb

Watch for Rudy to be attacked by the field next Thursday at the GOP debates held at the Ronald Reagan Library in California.
