You guys have the wrong photos for Anita Moreno! The photos you have are of Ofr. Norma Stang … and SHE has been a legitimate member of LAPD Metro for 4-5 years. She never bypassed any of the normal testing procedures and did NOT stay on the Mayor’s detail (for obvious reasons.) You are tarnishing Ofr. Stang’s stellar reputation by mistakenly representing that she is Anita Moreno!
Now, Flap is confused.
Is this Stang or Moreno? And why is the LAPD being so quiet?

An LAPD officer assigned to the Mayor’s protective detail monitors a public appearance last week.
L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has denied a rumor he had another affair with an attractive LAPD officer assigned to his protective detail.
“Absolutely false,” Villaraigosa said.
The officer — already named in other news reports — was transferred to the bodyguard unit from a training division assignment in 2005, according to department records obtained by KFI NEWS under the California Public Records Act.
End of story?

Over at Mayor Sam’s someone posted the bio of a female LAPD officer named Anita Ortega … Upon checking the photo posted in the bio only vaguely resembles the photos at ERS News … undoubtedly some attempts at creating confusion is going on. One of the posts is below, another comment noted that Anita Ortega is black and is too high in rank to be assigned to a detail. The photo you show looks like it could be this Anita Ortega, rather than the Anita Moreno supposedly shown in ERS News’ photos … again, sounds like someone is trying to put out disinformation and confusion … wonder why they would do that?

Okay – are you saying this Anita Ortega is the person in the photos on ERS News with Villar? They really do not look anything alike….

No wonder Villamugroso is denying that he had an affair with the woman originally identified (and depicted in your blog) as Anita Moreno. The woman depicted is Officer Norma Stang. Bring out a pic of the REAL Anita Moreno! Why do you think LAPD is not confirming this mistake??? Bratton is Villamugroso’s boy!

OK. I just verified that Ofr. Stang hasn’t been on Villamugroso’s protective detail for MONTHS, so that can’t be her depicted as part of his security detail “monitoring a public appearance” last week.
