Rudy to Hillary – What is Your Experience to be President?
Rudy attacks Hillary Clinton during an interview on the Fox News Hannity and Combes Show which will air at 6PM PDT.
From Matt Drudge:
R. GIULIANI: “Honestly, in most respects, I don’t know Hillary’s experience. She’s never run a city, she’s never run a state. She’s never run a business. She has never met a payroll. She has never been responsible for the safety and security of millions of people, much less even hundreds of people.
“So I’m trying to figure out where the experience is here. It would seem to me that in a time of difficult problems and war we don’t want on the job training for an executive. The reality is that these areas in which – maybe there are some areas in which she has experience but the areas of having the responsibility of the safety and security of millions of people on your shoulders is not something Hillary has ever had any experience with.”
Honest questions.
How will Hillary respond?
Flap will have the video when it is available.

Rudy to Obama – You are NO Ronald Reagan
Republican presidential hopeful former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani speaks during the Republican Jewish Coalition forum Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, in Washington .
Giuliani went after Obama Tuesday, criticizing Obama’s plans to meet with the leaders of rogue nations without preconditions. Giuliani, speaking to the Republican Jewish Coalition, took issue with Obama’s claims that meeting with leaders like Hugo Chavez is akin to Ronald Reagan’s meetings with the Soviet Union in the 1980s.
“I say this most respectfully, you’re not Ronald Reagan,” Giuliani said, adding the Reagan called the Soviets the “evil empire” and pointed intermediate range missiles at them before calling for negotiations. “He made sure this country was negotiating from strength.â€
Giuliani defended his Republican credentials, a day after they were attacked by Thompson. Giuliani noted that many of the Republican Jews in the audience were the first in their families, and have been met with resistance. “When they want to know, ‘Are you a real Republican?'” he said. “I gave my blood for the Republican Party in New York.”
Indeed, Obama is not Reagan and does not appreciate the “Peace Through Strength” negotiations with which Reagan defeated the Soviets.
If the Democrats had their way, America would not today have an operational missile defense shield, nor would American hostages in Iran been returned.
Excerpts from the Mayor’s speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition are here.Â

California Survey USA GOP Poll
- GOP: Thompson Settles Back to Pre-Launch Levels, Leaving Giuliani 21 Points Ahead of Rest of Republican Field: In a Republican Primary in California today, 10/15/07, 16 weeks to the vote, Rudolph Giuliani wins convincingly, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for KABC-TV Los Angeles, KPIX-TV San Fransisco, KGTV-TV San Diego and KFSN-TV Fresno.
- Giuliani leads by 21 points today, his largest lead in 6 months of SurveyUSA tracking polls. Compared to an identical poll released 5 weeks ago, on 09/10/07, Fred Thompson is down 8 points, from 26% then to 18% today. Giuliani is up 11 points, from 28% then to 39% today. Thompson and Giuliani had been effectively tied in the September poll, conducted immediately following Thompson’s launch on Jay Leno. Now Giuliani leads by 21.
- Thompson is just ahead of Mitt Romney, at 14%, and John McCain, at 13%. Another 12% of Republican primary voters prefer one of the other candidates — Duncan Hunter, Mike Huckabee, Tom Tancredo, Sam Brownback, or Ron Paul.
- Among Conservatives, Thompson finished 1st last month, 9 points atop Giuliani. Today, Thompson trails by 19 points among Conservatives, a swing of 28 points in Giuliani’s favor.
- Giuliani today gets the vote of 39% of Pro-Life Republicans, his highest standing in 6 months, and a net 23-point improvement from a month ago, when Giuliani trailed Thompson by 2 among Pro-Lifers.
- Thompson’s “Law and Order” legacy appears to be worth a couple of points at this point.
- Among those Republican primary voters who watch the TV show Law and Order, Thompson’s support is 19%. Among those who “almost never” watch Law and Order, Thompson’s support is 16%.
Let’s look at the GOP NUTS:
A very good poll for the Mayor as it can now be said that he is OWNING California. Fred Thompson is fizzling in California as he has been nationally. Romney has NEVER taken off here.
Since former GOP California Governor Pete Wilson has already endorsed Rudy will California GOP Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger be far behind?
Stay tuned………

Ron Paul Watch: The Disciples or Internet Spammers?
The Disciples of Ron Paul, Spreading the Word in N.H.
There’s no mistaking which house on Lake Shore Drive, about 45 minutes northeast of Manchester, is the one full of Paulites — the intensely loyal, almost fanatical supporters of Rep. Ron Paul. Signs are everywhere. On the back window of a brand new black Toyota, on the bumper of a green Geo, on a white Volvo station wagon that sits beside a beat-up lime green Honda. “Ron Paul 2008.”
“We can run the whole New Hampshire campaign right here,” says Jim Forsythe, 39, a former Air Force pilot who’s on his driveway in jeans, T-shirt and white socks. “We’re the hard-core supporters.”
These folks have been spamming my blog for months now.
Either they have lots of time on their hands or somebody is paying this group to harass the GOP. My guess it is a left wing group who is funding these internet spammers to create dissension among the GOP. As it has been rumored the GOP actually helps fund Ralph Nader and Green Party efforts to disrupt the Democrats.
The notiariety these folks have obtained highlights the failure of the national party primary system. The small states of Iowa and New Hampshire have for decades had a disproportionate say in who the Presidential nominees will be. Look for a national primary system to be developed by the parties in time for the 2012 election.
Now, as for Ron Paul.
Please……. a fringe candidate whose fundraising effort should draw Federal Election Commission scrutiny.
And, when will the GOP stop including him in the debates? Or does the top tier wish to use him as a foil for the left?
Spam away Paulites………

Iran Nuclear Watch: Russia’s Putin Visits Iran
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (L) and Russian President Vladimir Putin shake hands upon Putin’s arrival in Tehran. Putin backed Iran’s right to nuclear energy and argued against military action, during the first visit to the country by a Kremlin chief since World War II.
Putin Visits Iran, Sends Warnings to US
Russian leader Vladimir Putin met his Iranian counterpart Tuesday and implicitly warned the U.S. not to use a former Soviet republic to stage an attack on Iran. He also said nations shouldn’t pursue oil pipeline projects in the area if they weren’t backed by regional powers.
At a summit of the five nations that border the inland Caspian Sea, Putin said none of the nations’ territory should be used by any outside countries for use of military force against any nation in the region. It was a clear reference to long-standing rumors that the U.S. was planning to use Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic, as a staging ground for any possible military action against Iran.
“We are saying that no Caspian nation should offer its territory to third powers for use of force or military aggression against any Caspian state,” Putin said.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also underlined the need to keep outsiders away from the Caspian.
No surprise that Putin is snuggling up to Ahmadinejad and the Iranian Mullahs. Putin wants control and to recreate the Soviet empire of the Cold War era. Iran wants an oil-exporting partner with military hardware to exert hegemony over the Middle East.
So, what should the United States do?- Pursue Missile defense, increase operational capability
- Kick Russia out of the G-8, making the association the G-7
- Increase defense spending, particularly for the Navy. Build more ships and submarines.
- Increase economic and political sanctions on Iran outside the United Nations
Just to name a few……..
