Video: Rudy Giuliani Addresses California Campaign Volunteers

The video begins right after Rudy has passed Flap in the corridor of his Glendale, California Headquarters. The office was a mob scene and Rudy eventually stands on a desk, takes off his jacket (it was over 90 degrees in Southern California today) and asks his supporters for help in winning EVERY California Congressional District.
Moreover, Rudy asks for MORE – a California win in the general election.
Stay tuned for video of the News Presser after this event.

Rudy Giuliani Watch: Visiting California Campaign Headquarters
Flap arrives mid-afternoon in the Glendale, California Rudy Giuliani Headquarters. Numerous staffers and volunteers are busy working the phones in cublices making contact with California voters. Flap signs in and makes his way to a vantage point with a view of the entrance to the office.
Above is a photo of the young lady volunteers reading their phone scripts and marking the precinct lists – note the computerized data forum entry for contact info. Flap has the script. Now, wouldn’t you like to see it?
This fellow was very protective of what he was doing. But, Flap got this photo anyway. Texting on his cell phone was probably not on his job description.
Rudy fans congregate in the entry way prior to the Mayor’s arrival. The Mayor arrives EARLY around 2 PM (PST).
Mayor Giuliani addresses his California volunteers and supporters. He says he wants to win California for the GOP nomination but wants more – a California win in the general election.
Flap has video of this speech and the after event “presser” where a lefty KNBC television reporter, Laurel Erickson gets snarky with the Mayor over Iraq War funding.
Stay tuned…….

Will Illegal Immigration Be a 2008 Wedge Issue for the GOP? Part Two
Graphic Courtesy of the Lone Star Times: A fake Driver’s License?
The Democrats HAVE an illegal alien problem. Look at this poll of blue state New Yorkers.
Seven in ten New York voters who have read or heard about the Governor’s proposal to allow undocumented aliens to obtain New York driver’s licenses continue to oppose his original plan, and nearly two-thirds oppose his revised three-tiered license plan, according to a new Siena (College) Research Institute poll of registered voters released today. The Siena New York poll shows that Spitzer’s job performance rating is now virtually two-to-one negative and, for the first time ever, more voters now view him unfavorably than view him favorably. If the 2010 gubernatorial election were today, only 25 percent of voters are prepared to re-elect Eliot Spitzer, while 49 percent prefer “someone else.”
This is not just a Hillary problem but a generic one that the GOP could ride to redemption of 2006 losses in the Congress.
The poll numbers do not lie – notwithstanding the noise and wishful thinking of the LEFT and RIGHT.
A GOP WEDGE ISSUE?
You betcha……

Rudy Giuliani Watch: The Big State Strategy
Republican presidential hopeful, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, answers a question during a town hall meeting, while campaigning in Mount Vernon, Mo., Monday, Nov. 12, 2007.
The Rudy Giuliani “Big State” campaign strategy is well known and has been articulated for months.
However, with Mitt Romney’s resurgence in the New Hampshire polls, Michael Duhaime, Giuliani Campaign Manager went to the media yesterday to rearticulate it.
In a nutshell Rudy is banking that Florida and other “big states” (including California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania) will give Giuliani the majority of delegates by mid-April 2008 – DESPITE election losses to Mitt Romney in “early states” of Iowa and New Hampshire.
There are a number of variables and especially questions:
1. Will Mitt Romney’s poll leads in Iowa and New Hampshire hold up?
2. How will a resurgent Mike Huckabee campaign in Iowa divide votes away from Romney in Iowa?
3. Will Fred Thompson be able to mount a campaign against Romney in Iowa and South Carolina and Giuliani in Florida?
4. How will John McCain who won New Hampshire in 2000 against President Bush hurt Rudy there?
5. Would Romney wins in Iowa and New Hampshire generate sufficient MOMENTUM to propel him to victories in states where he is presently polling in third or fourth place?
Campaigns are run on money resources and there are a finite number of them with multiple elections throughout January, February, March and April 2008. How each campaign marshalls them and applies a targeted media campaign in the states where they “might” win will determine the GOP nominee.
Watch where Rudy is campaigning in the next few weeks prior to the Christmas holidays and where he launches his first television commercials. This will give the viewer insight as to where the battleground for race 2008 is.
Stay tuned…….

Day By Day by Chris Muir November 13, 2007
Hillary is planting questioners again or has she all along?
The college student who says she was told what question to ask at one of Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign events told CNN Monday that she wasn’t the only one at the event who was a plant and said “voters have the right to know what really happened.”
In an exclusive interview with CNN, Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff, a 19-year-old sophomore at Grinnell College in Iowa — whose story in her campus newspaper has now been widely circulated — said that giving anyone specific questions to ask is “dishonest,” and the whole incident has given her a negative outlook on politics.
Hillary’s campaign is starting to unravel with falsehoods. But, will it affect her “inevitable” nomination?
