Rudy Giuliani Watch: The Year in New Hampshire

A look back at Rudy in New Hampshire over the past year.

Yet, I hear that Rudy didn’t spend enough time in New Hampshire kissing the ass stumping for votes. The era of Iowa and New Hampshire weeding out Presidential candidates is over.

The major parties must change the Presidential race for 2012 to a regional primary election system beginning in February.

    The current system is broken.

  • Bill Clinton,  President 2008,  Ron Paul

Bill Clinton to Ron Paul Supporters – You ARE Nuts

Democratic presidential candidate U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) (L) and her husband former U.S. President Bill Clinton (R) order lunch from Dawny Valdez at Tursi’s Latin King Restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa January 3,2008, the day of the Iowa Caucus.

In New Hampshire today, Bill Clinton dropped an F-Bomb and called Ron Paul’s supporters NUTS.

“You wanna know what I think?” Clinton said. “You guys who think 9/11 was an inside job are crazy as hell. My wife was the senator from New York when that happened. I was down at Ground Zero. I saw the victims’ families. You’re nuts.”

For one of the first times in my life, I agree with Bill Clinton.  WOW…….

This is a wide and popular cross-section of the California GOP from the anti-tax Lew Uhler, anti-affirmative action Ward Connerly and former two term California Governor Pete Wilson.

    California, here Rudy comes…….

    Update:

From the California campaign for Rudy:

Rudy Giuliani’s California Chairman Bill Simon made the following statement today regarding the start of absentee voting in California:

“For the first time in years, California Republicans will play a pivotal role in determining who the Presidential nominee will be for their party. The voters in California begin to be heard today, as absentee voting starts in the state. As Republicans cast their ballots, I urge voters to choose the only true fiscal conservative in the race and the man whose tested leadership brought the country together in a time of crisis – Mayor Rudy Giuliani.”

  • John McCain,  Mike Huckabee,  Mitt Romney,  President 2008,  Rudy Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani Watch: Three Way Race?

From intrade a few moments ago. With Mitt Romney losing in New Hampshire to McCain his stock has risen. Rudy has the money and organization to roll onto February 5 where he will be head to head with McCain.

Flap thinks Huckabee is so behind in the money race that he will not be competitive after South Carolina where the Evangelical churches will help him on the cheap.

Now, will McCain be able to raise enough to compete with Hizzoner? Remember McCain’s campaign is in negative financial territory and absentee voting has already started in many Super Tuesday states.

California Term Limit Proposition 93 Turns To TV

The campaign for California Term Limits Change initiative Proposition 93 is going “on air.” This special interest initiative would extend certain California legislators terms of office while changing the term limit law by allowing a shorter time in office (12 years) versus three terms in the California Assembly and two terms in the California Senate (14 years). A legislator may serve twelve years in one house.

    The initiative is here.

The latest California Field poll is equivocal on the issue and hence the media campaign begins.

    Flap urges a NO vote.
