For what its worth:
The story on this past weekend’s McCain barbeque seems to be that it was all show. McCain insiders say that McCain sees Romeny as a competitor and does not trust him. McCan feels that both Jindal and Crist need more experience and are future leaders in the party. In short, McCain will not pick any of the three for VP.
Your thoughts.
Flap
I cannot see any of the three as Vice President – especially not Romney.
McCain should look at Tim Pawlenty, the Governor of Minnesota mentioned in a Brooks piece in the New York Times today or Sarah Palin, the Governor of Alaska.
Both have track records of excellent governance and are of a younger generation.
I agree it it too early for Bobby Jindal. I don’t think Crist will go much further.

Would Ron Paul be a great running mate?
Flap
Nope
For one Ron Paul is older than McCain!
