Terry Paulson “A Reagan Legacy—The Principles that Unite Usâ€
Ronald Reagan was more than a great communicator. He was a great educator. He communicated the principles and great ideas that inspired vision for the future and his actions as a leader. The world we face today is different, but the principles we must unite behind to ensure a vibrant future for America remain the same. The biggest difference between a political vision and a hallucination is the number of people who can see it. Come hear Townhall.com and Ventura County Star columnist, Terry Paulson, as he shares a true Reagan legacy—the principles that unite us. You won’t want to miss this informative and inspiring presentation by one of the country’s best keynote speakers.
The speech will be recorded by public access cable television if you cannot make the event on the 20th. The Public Access TV Speakers Series is Fridays at 7pm.

John McCain Watch: Bringing Bittergate to Pennsylvania
Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. makes remarks during a campaign event in Philadelphia, Wednesday, June 11, 2008
John McCain is going right after Barack Obama’s Bittergate Flap.In Philadelphia town hall meeting the Arizonan invokes his rival’s controversial comments earlier in the campaign suggesting small town Pennsylvanians and others are “bitter†and cling to their guns, religion.
Says after proclaiming that he will win the Keystone State battleground in November:
“We’re going to go to the small towns in Pennsylvania and I’m gonna to tell them I don’t agree with Senator Obama that they cling to their religion and the Constitution because they’re bitter.â€
Remember the quote?
You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
The game is on for the battleground states.
Will Obama laugh off this flap as he did while running against Hillary? Or just accept the loss of white working class voters?
Stay tuned…….

Iran Nuclear Watch: Ahmadinejad Taunts Bush
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, clinches his fist, as he delivers a speech in a public gathering at the city of Shahr-E- Kord, some 330 miles (550 kilometers) south of the capital Tehran, Iran, Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Ahmadinejad said Wednesday that U.S. President George W. Bush’s era ‘has come to an end’ and he has failed in his goals to attack Iran and stop its nuclear program
Iran President Ahmadinejad is correct in taunting President Bush. President Bush has done NOTHING but talk about Iran acquiring a nuclear weapon.“It’s Bush’s dream to harm Iran’s nation,” Ahmadinejad
said today during a televised speech in the western Iranian city
of Shahre Kord. “You thought you would be able to do something
but your term came to an end and you will not be capable of
harming even 1 centimeter of Iran’s sacred land.”Iran won’t stop its nuclear work, Ahmadinejad stressed.
“You think that you can force the Iranian nation to back
down from its legitimate rights through threats and pressures,”
Iran’s state-run Islamic Republic News Agency cited Ahmadinejad
as saying today in another speech, in the western town of Sefid
Dasht. He added, “The Iranian nation will not retreat even 1
inch.”The European Union who is threatened directly by Iran continues to insist on negotiations and China and Russia, Iran’s oil business partners, block the United Nations Security Council.
So, there will be either a military intervention by Israel and the United States or Iran will achieve its goal of becoming a nuclear weapon possessing country.
Flap cannot believe that President George W. Bush “punted” on this issue.
But, he did.

Barack Obama Watch: Release the Birth Certiciate Part 2
Much of his convention speech, and the subject of his 1995 memoir “Dreams From My Father,†focused on his diverse family. Born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, Obama was the son of a mother from Kansas and a father from Kenya who left to study economics at Harvard, and then returned to Kenya, seeing his son just once afterwards. Obama was raised by his mother’s parents. In 2006, he visited his father’s mother in Kenya.
Flap mentioned the other day the refusal of the Obama Campaign to release the candidate’s birth certificate.Since Team Obama hounded Cindy McCain to release her tax returns at the very least Team Obama should be willing to release Barack’s Hawaii birth certificate. They are not public in Hawaii.
And, he could place these rumors to rest:
- Obama was born in Kenya and not a “natural born citizen†as the US. Constitution requires for the Presidency
- Obama’s middle name is not “Hussein†but “Muhammadâ€
- Is his REAL name Barack or Barry?
Yesterday, Jim Geraghty debunked most of the internet and blog rumors regarding what was hidden in the birth certificate.
The only scenarios that could really be damaging to Obama himself were if he was born overseas (again, pretty darn implausible) or if he legally changed his name sometime in young adulthood. The idea that he was given some other name at birth and chose to rename himself after his father doesn’t seem unthinkable, considering his complicated relationship with his father and sense of identity…
However, Geraghty did raise some interesting possibilities about Obama’s name.
And a reader brought up a surprisingly plausible scenario. We know that by high school, Obama was identified in yearbooks, etc., as “Barry Obama.” But we know the relationship between Obama’s parents was rocky at times (Obama describes a short article about his father, profiling the Kenyan foreign exchange student, in the Honolulu Advertiser that doesn’t mention his wife or newborn child). What if on his birth certificate he was identified by his mother’s maiden name… Barack Dunham?
Or Barry Dunham?
It is increasingly apparent that Barack or Barry Obama’s parents were NOT married at the time of his birth since his father was NOT divorced from his first wife at the time. So, did his mother (Ann Dunham) name him after herself?
Is Obama’s real name: Barack Dunham? Or Barry Dunham?
Or is it the religion card?
In any case, the intrigue continues until the birth certificate is released.
Why doesn’t Team Obama release the document and be done with it?

Barack Obama Watch: Florida Co-Chair Representative Robert Wexler Supports Bush Impeachment
U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler (D-FL) makes remarks on behalf of the Obama campaign before the Democratic National Committee Rules and Bylaws Committee in Washington May 31, 2008
Team Obama Florida Co-Chair Democrat Representative Robert Wexler has signed on with Representative Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio to impeach President Bush.
Congressman Robert Wexler, D-Fla. — the Florida co-chair for the presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill. — today announced that he has signed on to support the Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush, introduced this week by Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio.
“President Bush deliberately created a massive propaganda campaign to sell the war in Iraq to the American people and the charges detailed in this impeachment resolution indicate an unprecedented abuse of executive power,” Wexler said. “A decision by Congress to pursue impeachment is not an option, it is a sworn duty. It is time for Congress to stand up and defend the Constitution against the blatant violations and illegalities of this Administration. Our Founding Fathers bestowed upon Congress the power of impeachment, and it is now time that we use it to defend the rule of law from this corrupt Administration.”
Wexler previously ran a nationwide campaign to hold impeachment hearings for Vice President Dick Cheney.
And, this helps Barack Obama win Florida how?
Moreover, Obama does NOT agree with ANY attempt to impeach the current administration:
“I think you reserve impeachment for grave, grave breaches, and intentional breaches of the president’s authority,” he told USA Today “I believe if we began impeachment proceedings we will be engulfed in more of the politics that has made Washington dysfunction. We would once again, rather than attending to the people’s business, be engaged in a tit-for-tat, back-and-forth, non-stop circus.”
Representative Kucinich and Wexler are FRINGE Left-Wing zealots who have NO support except among other zealots who suffer Bush Derangement Syndrome.
But, this does HURT Obama in Florida. Wlll Barry throw him under the bus?
