Is anyone amazed at the hellish personal attacks and desperate antics by the left blogosphere and the MSM on Alaska Governor Sarah Palin?

The smears come two or three a day per news cycle. Most are outlandish bullshit but are being picked up by local television stations (for example KNBC, Los Angeles who takes their politcal news from Obama Campaign and Daily Kos talking points) and the newspapers, like the Los Angeles Times. Looks like most of the right blogospheres work the next 60 days will be to knocking down these outlandish rumors.

But, why is the LEFT so desperate?
