Sarah Palin Watch: E-mail Hacked and Family Photos/Voicemail Stolen
Update:
McCain-Palin 2008 Campaign Manager Rick Davis: ‘This is a shocking invasion of the Governor’s privacy and a violation of law. The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these emails will destroy them. We will have no further comment’…
From Fox News: Palin’s E-Mail Account Hacked, Published on Web SiteUpdate #2
Michelle Malkin now has the story behind Sarah Palin’s e-mail hack
Palin Derangement Syndrome by Lundesigns
Gawker posted the results of the e-mail hack of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s Yahoo account.
Receipt and publication of stolen items must make Nick Denton of Gawker Media proud SUED.
Michelle has more on the bastards.

It’s not an outrage. Quite the contrary, Repugnants are deserving of such treatment for the true custodians of society are leftist/Marxist/DumbocRATS. Don’t believe me? Just ask one how much they care about others (with your money, of course).

Someone should post her phone number, I want to listen to her voicemail. (:

Call if you want but I doubt Nick Denton cares.

Flap
Denton might enjoy it. ;o)

This is why I don’t use Yahoo mail.
I suppose Gmail could conceivably be just as vulnerable, but anyone crossing Google that way would probably end up hanging by their thumbs over a tank full of friggin’ sharks with friggin’ laser beams in their heads.
Flap
I don’t use Yahoo mail either but it appears to be a password exploit. Did you read the second update link over at MM’s?
Folks you gotta use more security and lock down your passwords.

Gawker and Nick Denton have a little problem and more than likely, he will receive a complimentary trip home, back to Merry Old England….because hacking is a felony, posting confidential information is harasment.
Not only is there a hefty fine and penalty of up to twenty years in prison for hacking, but there are penalties for stalking, putting personal information about one on the internet (HR3402) and…..state wiretap laws
exposure to litigation for violation of privacy and other damages….as well as deportation…..
Somebody needs to go to jail…….

I think the lefties are about to find out what happens when they go way beyond what’s acceptable. Plain fever was just about to go away, and focus was coming back to Obama. This will surely put the focus back on Palin. I’m sure it must be frightening for the Palin family, but politically speaking, this is a golden oppurtunity for McCain.

Is this that big of a deal? There are a lot of injustices to get outraged about, and this is right at the bottom of my list. I in no way condone the stealing of Palin’s email, but what damage was really done – a bit of privacy lost? I think a little prespective might be necessary here. Could this be made into a big deal to divert our attention from important matters? Of course!!
Jared
Hypocrisy? Back in 2006 Michelle Malkin posted the phone numbers of some college kids planning to protest Ann Coulter. The kids received death threats! Malkin refused to take those phone numbers down! When they complained, Malkin reposted their numbers. Eh, whay am I saying, family photos>death threats, right? Continue being outraged!

@ 12
Of course it is an outrage and the Democrats have a history of hacking into and distributing private information. Remember the Michael Steele situation?
This is on my political radar and looks more and more like a dirty trick.

Wrong with the facts about Michelle Malkin.
But, she is a big girl and can take care of her own arguments. And, she has over at her site. Go over there and read them.

Look, both parties play dirty, lets agree to that. However, if you think that the Dem party or Obama campaign are behind this, you are a bit deluded.
It does not serve any purpose, as there was nothing incriminating in the emails. There are enough incriminating things right out in the open for them to focus on if they want – this just makes Palin look like a victim with nothing to hide, so it is not in the Dems interest to put that info out there.
@15 – mind linking anything to refute my statement?

Here you go a new post: http://flapsblog.com/2008/09/18/sarah-palin-watch-e-mail-hacked-and-family-photosvoicemail-stolen-who-was-behind-the-hack/
This matter needs to be thoroughly investigated. The Democrats have a track record of criminal activity.

Here you go – easily obtained by clicking on a link above and reading MM’s post:

There are a number of posts for your enjoyment.

@20 – these links have nothing to do with MM revealing protestors personal information and receiving death threats – thanks though.
There is a lot of criminal activity going on in both parties which I want investigated. Revealing a couple family photos is not on the top of my threat list. The Dem party would have no logical reason to reveal the email if they were hacking it until they found something incriminating; it’s just bad tactics otherwise. This is clearly the work of a prankster, not something the Dem party is behind – they may be foolish as a group sometimes, but come on.
Revealing family photos and some personal emails is criminal, but there are plenty of other, more important, criminal activities to investigate in both parties.
Flap, I am sure there are things the Dems have done that are more outrage-worthy. It’s obvious you can only look at it one way, so I will just leave it at that.

@21
The link I provided has everything to do with the Santa Cruz incident. I think you are either disingenuous or just lazy. Look again.
But, I will help you: http://michellemalkin.com/2008/09/17/gawker-lies-again/
Do you think when the Feds catch the perp who hacked Sarah Palin’s account they should be prosecuted?
Here is some of the Democrats track record:

There is more……
