Well the launch happened. President Obama, you need to step up and take strong and swift action. Words are not enough. These guys don’t care what your words say. They must be backed up by action. Make our world safe through strength not weakness.

Obama his living in a dream world. He thinks he can negotiate with North Korea and Iran and under his very nose, they verbally snub him and NK launches a very dangerous missile. Obama’s trip to the G-20 might have been warm and fuzzy, but NOTHING was accomplished.
To add insult to injury, the very “pro” UN is going to take up the issue of the NK missile launch. Where do you think that’s going to take us? Russia and China will veto any further sanctions and we will be worse off than we were before. Than missile should have been take out a month ago – or for more drama, once it was launched. The US has to stop being a paper tiger or else we will be facing another 9/11 sooner than we think.

I agree and will have some additional posts tomorrow regarding Obama and missile defense.

It’s really interesting in politics how everything is presented as action and reaction.

North Korea may, indeed, have wanted its own Sputnik, if only to beat South Korea – far ahead in all other respects – to the punch. Seoul’s first satellite is due to fly later this year.
