OMG Scandalous Photo of Miss California Carrie Prejean Is Part of Campaign to Destroy Her Reputation

Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy

Good grief. As if announcing to the world that Carrie’s breast implants were paid for by the Miss USA Pageant wasn’t enough punishment for favoring traditional marriage, now there is the racy photo flap.

    Here is the racy photo:

    carrie prejain

Big deal. Most Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition covers reveal more. But, the LEFT wants to expose Carrie Prejean as a hypocrite who is against gay marriage because of her Christian beliefs but then turns around and shows off her body.

I don’t think it is going to work – even if more photos are discovered.

Enough is enough – I mean really.

The National Organization of Marriage spokeswoman Magie Gallagher has come to Prejean’s defense.

Because Carrie honestly said what she believed in answer to a question–marriage is the union of a man and a woman– she is now the subject of ongoing character assassination. The level of hatred directed at her is astonishing. Even more astonishing is her personal courage and strength of character in the midst of these attacks. Of course Carrie is not perfect. On a personal note, as a former unwed mother, I want to say to Americans: you don’t have to be a perfect person to have the right to stand up for marriage. Nothing gay marriage advocates can do can change the fact—we all saw it on national TV—that Carrie is a young woman who surrendered all the glitter Hollywood has to offer, because she would not become the kind of person afraid to say the truth.

Through Carrie, we are also learning, the lengths some people will go to hurt and harass those who speak up for marriage.

Stay tuned as either more photos come to the surface or the gay marriage hate mongers start examining another aspect of Carrie’s life in order to destroy her.

Radio Talk Star Michael Savage Banned from the United Kingdom

    michael-savage-ban

Shock San Francisco-based conservative talk radio host Michael Savage has been banned from the United Kingdom.

Sixteen people banned from entering the UK were “named and shamed” by the Home Office today.

Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said she decided to make public the names of 16 people banned since October so others could better understand what sort of behaviour Britain was not prepared to tolerate.

The list includes hate preachers, anti-gay protesters and a far- right US talk show host.

“I think it’s important that people understand the sorts of values and sorts of standards that we have here, the fact that it’s a privilege to come and the sort of things that mean you won’t be welcome in this country,” Ms Smith told GMTV.

“Coming to this country is a privilege. If you can’t live by the rules that we live by, the standards and the values that we live by, we should exclude you from this country and, what’s more, now we will make public those people that we have excluded.

“We are publishing the names of 16 of those that we have excluded since October. We are telling people who they are and why it is we don’t want them in this country.”

She said the number of people excluded from Britain had risen from an average of two a month to five a month since October.

The list of the 16 “least wanted” includes radio talk show host Michael Savage, real name Michael Weiner.

“This is someone who has fallen into the category of fomenting hatred, of such extreme views and expressing them in such a way that it is actually likely to cause inter-community tension or even violence if that person were allowed into the country,” Ms Smith told BBC Breakfast.

This is why over the top and an overreaction by the Gordon Brown government. But, hey it is their country and sets an example to the world as to the tolerance of the British – which they aren’t very, apparently.

Savage laughed the ban off today.

“When I woke up and saw this this morning … my first thought was, damn, there goes the summer trip where I planned to have my dental work done,” the “Savage Nation” host joked. “My second thought was, darn … there goes my visit to the restaurants of England for their great cuisine.”

Yet, later Savage said he was contemplating legal action against Britain’s top homeland security offical Jacqui Smith.

What a stupid decision to include America’s third rated radio talk show host on an undesirable list with neo-Nazis, skinheads and Islamic terrorists.

And, what if Savage calls for a boycott of travel to Britain? How much will that cost the Brown government?

In the meantime, Savage’s ratings no doubt will increase, with the concomitant advertising dollars.

Michael Savage banned all the way to the bank.

Poll Watch Pennsylvania Senate: Tom Ridge 39 Vs. Arlen Specter 38

A new Pennsylvania poll has GOP conservative  Pat Toomey in better shape against U.S. Senator Arlen Specter but former Pennsylvania GOP Governor Tom Ridge is beating him ourtight.

Former Governor Tom Ridge and US Senator Arlen Specter are neck-and-neck across Pennsylvania in an election poll conducted for a state business group. Conservative former Congressman Pat Toomey, while potentially viable, trails Specter in most regions of the state.

PEG PAC, Pennsylvania’s oldest pro-business political action committee and the affiliated PAC of the Pennsylvania Business Council (PBC), today announced the results of a statewide poll that tested whether a well known conservative Republican or a well known right-of-center Republican can best challenge incumbent US Senator Arlen Specter who recently joined the Democrat Party.

In an automated poll of 1,019 households of registered voters taken at the end of last week, announced PBC President and CEO David W. Patti, “PEG PAC found that if the election for US Senate were held today, Tom Ridge could defeat Arlen Specter by a margin of 39 percent to 38 percent. The poll also shows Specter would defeat Pat Toomey by a margin of 42 percent to 36 percent.” The number of undecided voters in the survey is over 20 percent cautioned Patti, and the margin of error is +/- 2.8 percent, so the association leader said the results are not conclusive.

This is the second poll in the last week that shows Tom Ridge as a very strong contender for this seat. Pro-life conservatives may not like Ridge since he is pro-choice but in this Republican Party climate , it is electability that will sway the donors and the National Repuiblican Senatorial Committee.

If Tom Ridge wants to be a U.S. Senator, then he will likely be one.

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Remember when the LEFT’S mantra was: dissent is the highest form of patriotism?

Now, the Obama Administration and the Department of Homeland Security are scrutinizing returning veterans as possible domestic terrorists. Plus, warning law enforcement agencies to watch out for those Bob Barr and Ron Paul supporters with those nefarious bumper stickers on their cars.

What about the cars that say “Stop the Iraq War?”

I know. it is now “The One’s” war and he is….. what –  escalating it into Pakistan.

But, watch out for those Ron Paul folks, now.

Chris, this Hail Caesar stuff is giving me heartburn…….

    • Gov. Sarah Palin is backing a ballot measure to bypass the Legislature and make it illegal for teenagers to get an abortion without telling their parents.
The initiative would require parental "notice or consent" before a woman under 18 could have an abortion, unless the teen convinced a court otherwise or there was a medical emergency. There would have to be a 48-hour waiting period after the parent is notified — but that could be waived if the parent gave consent for the abortion.

Secretary of State Debra Bowen today certified a recall petition drive against Adams. The effort is headed by 10 proponents, including former Assemblyman and unsuccessful U.S. Senate Candidate Richard L. Mountjoy.

Mountjoy has already told the conservative Flash Report that he intends to run in the recall against Adams if the measure qualifies. Recall petitioners must collect collect 35,825 valid signatures of registered voters by Oct. 13 for the measure to qualify for the ballot.

Another recall effort was recently launched against state Sen. Roy Ashburn, R-Bakersfield. Recall backers in Ashburn's district have until Sept. 30 to collect 42,376 valid signatures.
