Meghan McCain gets a platform on The Daily Beast and on TV because of who she is, and because she’s a useful idiot for the media left. (“Look, even John McCain’s daughter is saying how screwed-up the GOP is!”) I say this even though it’s likely that Meghan McCain and I agree on some things. She ought to know enough to realize that she’s not getting on TV because people think she’s genuinely got anything interesting or important to say.
Can’t Mother McCain get her a job selling beer or something?

Meghan McCain, Colin Powell and Sarah Palin are the worst three things to ever happen to the Republican Party. If Meghan McCain were named anything else no one would care. If Sarah Palin had half a brain in her head we might have stood a chance. And if Colin Powell weren’t black he probably would have stuck with his party. IMHO, the only thing that can save us is to finally embrace the mormons. Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman are excellent politicians and people. If our party could just get over their religion, these guys could really help take us in the right direction I think.
