Barack Obama,  Day By Day

President Obama’s address to america’s school children next week is a classic left-wing symbolism over substance event.

Obama is cratering in the polls with the nation’s unemployment rate reaching historic records. So, why is he bothering with the kids?

Are Obama, Rahm and Axelrod in denial? Do they REALLY think a fancy speech like the Hope and Change mantra from the 2008 campaign will turn America around?

Delusions of grandeur.

The schools flap was bad timing, it smells like a tactic more then a sincere effort. Then there is the “going national’ about it, that gives an indoctrination feel. It’s like Mr. Obama is a bit out of touch and his advisors are from another galaxy.

Indoctirnation? Fox news and its fear mongering followers have done well. Ask yourself this – why would a respectable news agency launch a multi-million dollar campaing to prove that the are “fair and balanced?” Those qualites should speak for themselves. Far be it for a leader to try to inspire hope in its young people. Who would want that?. I thought the democrats had cornered the market on conspiracy theories (think of the 8 year long control through fear and misinformation campain George W. and company ran, which took this country’s economy into the basement) but it looks like the republicans can keep pace as well. At least Obama can string together coherent sentences and give an inspiring message devoid of made up words and a deer in the headlights expression.
