CA-Gov Video: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Confronts Meg Whitman Heckler

New Jersey GOP Governor Chris Christie goes after a heckler of California Republican Governor nominee Meg Whitman

The guy was probably a plant.

True to his tough-guy persona, Gov. Chris Christie mixed it up today with a political naysayer, who heckled California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman at a political rally.

Christie was concluding a town hall meeting with Whitman when an angry audience member criticized her for not taking questions.

“What are you hiding?” shouted Ed Buck, in jeans and a light shirt in the front row of the 400-person event. “You’re looking like Arnold in a dress,” he said in a reference to outgoing California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Before Whitman could respond, Christie stepped down from the stage and got in Buck’s face.

“Hey, listen. You know what. You want to yell, yell at me,” Christie said, shutting down Buck as Christie’s bodyguards calmly but quickly approached the two men. “It’s people who raise their voices and yell and scream like you who are dividing this country. We’re here to bring this country together.”

Governor Christie defused the Alinsky situation pretty well, wouldn’t you say?

So why isn’t she taking questions? And Christy, it is your side doing all the screaming that is dividing this country, geez, republicans can be so dense!

Neither Christy or Whitman answered the guy’s question.

Why is Whitman like every other Wingnut/Teabaggist candidate using the Palin Gambit of not answering questions unless they are pre-screened or from sympathetic Fox hosts?

What happened to open debate to discuss what your policies are?

Christie is a lying fraud, who removed 400 million from NJ Schools, including their hot lunch program, claiming it was due to a math mistake, state officials made. Now, only rich, private school kids can learn and eat. What a pack of Nazis, these reactionary Republicans are. Enough to make you vomit.

You libtards amaze me. The hot lunch program…why should I pay for your kid’s hot lunch? I have no kids. How about doing like what was done when we were kids…pack a lunch. Oh, I forgot…these days the schools are nothing more than day care centers. And knock it off with this rich, private school kids crap. Once again, you libtards are crying because the taxpayers are tired of paying for your handout programs. You are entitled to an education, that’s it! If your kid doesn’t eat in school, it ain’t the school’s fault!
I went to private school, by the way. My parents broke their behinds to send my sister and I to private Catholic schools. They were far from rich.

Whitman stages her interviews and plants people in the audience from her campaign office. Those are the only people she calls on. I know this first hand because my son worked on her early campaign and participated in one of her events where plants were used.

There is a video posted on the web showing her rehearse a group meeting with her plants.
