President 2012: Michele Bachmann To Address California GOP Convention

GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann will make a trip to Southern California in September to speak at the California Republican Party’s fall convention.
The conservative Minnesota congresswoman is scheduled to address delegates on the first night of the three-day convention, which will be held in Los Angeles Sept 16-18.
CRP Chairman Tom Del Beccaro said in a statement that he believes Bachmann’s “pure energy, vibrancy and leadership will be a hit with our delegates.”
“This is a great opportunity for us to hear directly from one of the Republican Party’s leading presidential candidates,” he said.
The full speaker line-up has yet to be confirmed, though CRP spokesman Mark Standriff said invitations have been extended to other GOP presidential candidates as well.
Interesting that Bachmann who, if the GOP Presidential nominee, will have NO chance of beating President Obama is still coming to the Golden State. Obviously, it is to meet with donors and to fundriase but it may also be to preempt Mitt Romney and Rick Perry (who has addressed the convention previously) from having an exclusive forum in the vast nationwide media market which is Los Angeles.
I might actually buy a ticket for the Friday night speech and/or cover the event for flapsblog.

Letter I sent to O’BAMA: OK let’s get into this again. You can not buy your way out, did not work the first time won’t now! So this is what you do; #1 sell the USPO to it’s employees for one dollar and walk away from that mess! #2 We are giving China all our money and jobs! Stop..put a 20% import tax on everything and anything imported into this country from any country! It is time we started taking care of ourselves for a change, yes they will be pissed, so what! #3 The tax code is killing our jobs! We need a complete overhaul, but it must be easy like a national sales tax for the US Govt., on everything everyone and every company or org., buys! No Exemptions! NO Income Tax! Then the States will have a sale tax for that state same rules apply, No State Income tax or realestate taxes! Now stop and think…what that would do for YOU!!! You will only pay taxes when you spend money, but everyone pays, no matter what, or who you are, even the US Govt., will pay and the Red Cross, Boy Scouts,Churches, Schools, everyone! You’ll pay tax on food,clothing,gas,cars,houses,planes,boats,everything!! No other taxes allowed!! Some say it will hurt the poor, the poor are already hurting, now some can get a job for a change and we will figure out a way to help the poor we always do, so don’t worry about the poor. we will have less on the poor list after we take these steps! This is a HUGH step…BUT WE need to take a BIG STEP!! It is already too late, roll up your sleeves and get with the program Mr. O’BAMA…you will not be re-elected anyway, so why not get things right while you still have the opportunity to do so??? Just Do iT!!
