President 2012 Poll Watch: Obama Approval Dips Below 40 Per Cent

This is Gallup’s three day rolling average, so the President’s approval may be even lower.

The 54 per cent disapproval is the worst of the Obama Presidency.

Obama is set to launch something of a counter-offensive on Monday with a three-day bus tour of the Midwest, a trip that includes two stops in Iowa. The White House denied that the itinerary was politically motivated, however.

If the GOP can avoid a messy Presidential primary season, Obama more than likely will be a one term President – just like Jimmy Carter.
