I just noticed that your link discussing Barack Obama’s “racist” speech includes quotes that are trimmed at the expense of the author’s journalistic integrity. Reading the full text of the speech, which can be Googled easily enough, gives better insight. For example, when Obama is talking about people who need federal assistance for basic skills education he’s referring to veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress and orphans who have reached the age of majority without benefiting from adoption, not the minorities the author attributes to the quote.
