Barack Obama Watch: Playing Politics With Iraq

Is Barack Obama playing politics with the Iraq War?

Isn’t it obvious?

But, John McCain does NOT have to paint Obama as a typical, duplicitous, lying politician on the Iraq War issue. As El Rushbo said today on his radio show the American public almost expects that from their pols. Rush suggests instead of emphasizing that Obama is a “ROOKIE” and inexperienced – one prone and destined to make poor decisions.

In other words, a politician who cannot be trusted with the Presidency. Like somebody who would rather go to the gym rather than see wounded troops. Somebody who is ALL ABOUT HIMSELF – even for a politician.

The script of Troops says it all:

Anncr: Barack Obama never held a single Senate hearing on Afghanistan.

He hadn’t been to Iraq in years.

He voted against funding our troops.

And now, he made time to go to the gym, but cancelled a visit with wounded troops.

Seems the Pentagon wouldn’t allow him to bring cameras.

John McCain is always there for our troops.

McCain. Country first.

John McCain: I’m John McCain and I approve this message.

Notice today how Barack Obama is moving away from foreign policy issues.

I’ve said it before, but nobody seems to be listening. John McCain needs to start talking about John McCain, instead of talking about Obama. Don’t you think its more important that McCain should explain to voters why they need to vote for him, rather than why they shouldn’t vote for Obama?

    You are partially correct.

McCain is a fairly well known quantity but needs to introduce himself to more working class women voters who had previously supported Hillary.

On the other hand, he needs to expose Obama as the “rookie, not ready for prime time” that he is.

mccain thinks the central front in the war on terror is iraq and not afghanistan.
    obama thinks its afghanistan.
obama the rookie is definately correct in this regard. now the taliban are threatening the political situation in pakistan [which is very serious], while mccain is calling the surge a success. the USA needs to get out of iraq and forget reshaping the middle east to israel design and get their forces into afghanistan in a major way.
