Rudy Giuliani Will NOT Rule Out Run for New York Governor

    Rudy-Giuliani-January-13-20

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani interviewed today on Good Day NY

Rudy says it is too early to think about running against David Paterson in 2010 for New York Governor and New York Representative Peter King says Rudy will make a good running mate when he runs for the U.S. Senate.

So, what is it going to be?

Flap says Rudy will run against Paterson. But, will Paterson be the Democrat nominee if he appoints Caroline Kennedy to Hillary Clinton’s soon to be vacant U.S. Senate seat?

It is early. But Rudy always the media hound is preparing for the future.

New York Governor David Paterson Pulling Away From Caroline Kennedy as Hillary Clinton’s Replacement Senator?

    Daivd Paterson January 1 2009

New York Gov. David A. Paterson and First Lady Michelle Paterson toast each other prior to receiving visitors during the annual open house at the Executive Mansion in Albany, N.Y, January 1, 2009.

The language from Paterson does not heart Caroline Kennedy but a number of other candidates are receiving serious consideration.

Now that the date has been set for Hillary Clinton’s secretary of state confirmation hearing (next Tuesday), the pressure is on for Gov. David Paterson to finally make a decision on who he will tap to replace her in the US Senate.

But since he’s not even done vetting candidates yet, it’s unlikely his choice will come anytime soon.

Speaking today on WOR-AM’s “The Joan Hamburg Show,” Paterson addressed the argument being made in favor of Caroline Kennedy by people like Deputy Mayor Kevin Sheekey, who say her relationship to President-elect Obama is the ultimate trump card.

“Caroline Kennedy obviously does have a tremendous relationship with the president and that’s certainly a plus,” Paterson said. “She does not have much political, I mean legislative, experience which is a minus…She has pluses and minuses.”

Flap bets Paterson backs away from Caroline Kennedy and appoints New York Democrat Attorney General Andrew Cuomo which then clears the field for a Paterson re-election effort for Governor in 2010.

Caroline Kennedy Sinks in the Polls But Does it Matter?

    Caroline Kennedy and Al Sharpton

The Rev. Al Sharpton, center, stands beside Caroline Kennedy as they field questions during a news conference outside the famed soul food restaurant Sylvia’s in Harlem, New York, Thursday Dec. 18, 2008. The late President John F. Kennedy’s daughter acknowledged Wednesday that she is seeking to be appointed to the Senate seat held by Hillary Rodham Clinton, who has been nominated by President-elect Barack Obama to be secretary of state

Caroline’s popularity with New York voters has been in a nosedive in the polls but it may all be moot for a number of reasons.

Caroline Kennedy‘s popularity has suffered a “clear hit” as a result of her public campaign for Hillary Rodham Clinton‘s Senate seat, while Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s positive ratings have shot up, according to a new poll.

According to Public Policy Polling, of Raleigh, N.C., 44 percent of New York State voters now say they have a less favorable opinion of Kennedy than they did before she started vying for the position. Thirty-three percent say it’s made no difference, and 23 percent report now having a more favorable opinion of her.

Cuomo now leads Kennedy 58-27 in a survey of the preferences of state voters. Among Democrats, Cuomo is ahead of Kennedy 54-34 percent; a month ago, the survey found Kennedy ahead of Cuomo by 44-23 percent among Democrats.

    • Will Caroline Kennedy, despite her wealth for a self-funded campaign, be of sufficent stature to defeat former New York Governor George Pataki or Rudy Giuliani, both Republicans?
    • Will New York Governor David Paterson defuse a possible Democrat Primary election for himself by appointing New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo to the Senate?
    • And, it ALL may be MOOT should Hillary Clinton run into confrirmation problems on the Hill.

    Stay tuned……

As Barack Obama spiritual advisor Jeremiah Wright said, “The chickens are coming home to roost.”

First, it was Hot Rod Blagojevich and his corrupt appointment of Roland Burris to Obama’s U.S. Senate seat along with the interference by Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry  Reid and Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

Second, the NEPOTISM of a possible Caroline Kennedy appointment to Hillary Clinton’s U.S. Senate Seat.

Third, the apparent win of Al Franken, who is an incompetent a pol as Jesse Ventura and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

And, now, there is the withdrawal of New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson from his Obama appointment to become Secretary of Commerce because of corruption charges.

But, what do you expect from a MSM who did not properly VETT the Democrat Party or Obama during the last election cycle.

Chickens coming home to roost, indeed.

Should Al Franken prevail in the U.S. Senate race in Minnesota, it will be the perfect storm for the national GOP.

There will be a TRIFECTA of Caroline Kennedy, Roland Burris and Al Franken.

    A TRIFECTA of

    • Nepotism
    • Corruption
    • Incompetence

Who cares if you have ONLY 41 votes to sustain a filibuster. This number will ONLY hold up for two years anyway with this trio.

Senator Caroline Kennedy – So Say Sources Close to New York Governor David Paterson

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

    Caroline Kennedy and Barack Obama

Flap is NOT shocked because the Kennedy Cabal have twisted arms.

New York Gov. David Paterson says the search is ongoing, but two people close to him tell The Associated Press they believe Caroline Kennedy will be appointed to replace Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Senate.

Kennedy’s less than stellar public performance appeared to be on his mind because he cautioned that just because he selects someone it doesn’t mean they will win the election outright.

“The public does not regard my selection as an incumbent. The public regards this as a place holder for two years and then will make their own choice,” Paterson said. “And that takes the pressure off me.”

Paterson and the New York Democrat Party would be much better served by appointing a more seasoned pol or even Bill Clinton as a caretaker Senator but the Kennedy’s have probably promised Paterson an Obama apppointment to a federal position since Paterson is unlikely to win re-election in 2010. The voters of New York will be short-changed with a light-weight as their U.S. Senator but who cares what they think, right?

The Democrats will have quite the trio entering the Senate: Caroline Kennedy who knows how to say, “You Know”; Roland Burris who tried to execute an innocent man; and Al Franken (should his slim lead hold in Minnesota) a lefty comic.

And, the GOP should care about having only 41 votes in the Senate, why?

Caroline Kennedy is an “empty suit” but is she significantly different than many Democrat Senators?

    Not really.

Flap looks forward to her financial disclosure forms and revelation as to how much of her family fortune came from her grandfather Joseph’s trade in bootlegging, arms smuggling and illegal trade with the Nazis.

Let’s have some airing of the Kennedy laundry?

Or is it all water under the bridge?

The Making of a Senator – Caroline Kennedy Forgot to Vote; Only 37% Say She Is Fit for Senate

    Caroline Kennedy and Al Sharpton

OOPS Caroline Kennedy POLL FAULTED screams the New York press.

Caroline Kennedy, who’s making her case to succeed Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, didn’t vote in several elections – including the 2005 mayoral primary and the 2002 general election, The Post has learned.

City Board of Elections records show the former first daughter also didn’t cast a ballot in the 1997 mayoral primary race and several other primaries since she registered at her current address as a Democrat in 1988, a Post review showed.

Such civic committment. Isn’t this what Caroline is touting as her qualifications for office?

    Please.

Exit question: Who is doing this OPPO research on Caroline? Rudy?

    Update:

Rasmussen has only 37 per cent of U.S. voters think Caroline is qualified to be in the U.S. Sente.

Hillary Clinton or Caroline Kennedy for President in 2016?

    Hillary Clinton and Caroline Kennedy

Hillary Clinton and Caroline Kennedy who is seeking appointment to her U.S. Senate seat

GAD, they are already speculating for the term after “The One.”

If Caroline Kennedy is appointed to the Senate and wins reelection, and Barack Obama serves two successful terms, Senator Kennedy from New York, into her second term after two high-profile campaigns, having amazed the pundits with her ability to step on and off charter jets in Rochester and be friendly to members of the City Council, will be an automatic top-tier candidate for president.

The Kennedy-Clinton primary will be a thing to watch.

And, with Sarah Palin as the likely GOP nominee, voters could have an all female finale. Allahpundit ridicules some more.

Nothing would be finer than a nepotism cage match between the Clintons and Kennedys for the nomination while Chelsea and Michelle Obama inevitably eye Senate runs of their own. Here’s the latest scoop from the trail in furtherance of that end. She’s not quite ready yet for tough questions like, um, are you qualified, but she’s getting there.

    Key Caroline Kennedy graph:

“Are you ready for this, Ms. Kennedy? You’re not going to answer questions at all?” reporters yelled.

“Where are you heading next?” a television reporter asked.

    “To the car,” Kennedy said.

Uhhhhhh, maybe New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo would be a better choice for Hillary’s Senate seat.

    You think?

Caroline Kennedy Reaches Out to Hillary Clinton Over Senate Seat

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Hillary Clinton and Caroline Kennedy who is seeking appointment to her U.S. Senate seat

More spin from the Kennedy Klan to the Clinton Cabal.

Caroline Kennedy has reached out to Hillary Clinton to discuss her interest in the Senate seat, according to a source familiar with the replacement process. While Clinton has not made clear who she supports to fill her seat, sources say that the three Hillary supporters who recently made anti-Caroline remarks were rebuked by Clinton confidantes immediately after they made them. A message from Clinton’s team was sent to Clinton fundraiser Robert Zimmerman, RWDSU president Stu Appelbaum, and Rep. Anthony Weiner.

After the piece on Drudge about Chelsea Clinton being interested in the seat, the Kennedys are NOT slow in striking back with their own retort.

Flap suspects that there will be more in-fighting behind the scenes for Hillary’s endorsement. One Hillary REALLY does not want to give but was outmanuvered by the Kennedys and Barack Obama.

    Update:

Even Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post is climbing on the Caroline Kennedy bandwagon.

Caroline looks like a winner every minute…..
