Day By Day March 23, 2011 – Gut Check
It is understandable why Sam is sick with Zed missing and all, unless…..Yeah, something else may be happening there…..
But, I worry about our men and women who are in Iraq and Afghanistan with President Obama NOW distracted in Libya and trying to find a way out.

Day By Day March 16, 2011 – Pushing It
Chris, how I know about “Pushing It.”In Los Angeles Marathon training, you see all of the mid-20 year olds having an easy time with the hills and pace. I suppose it came home to me when one of the pace leaders reminded me that I am a “MASTERS” runner – which means old.
But, there is something to be said about experience…. a little.

Day By Day March 5, 2011 – Small Talk
America has been in Afghanistan for almost a decade and many wonder when this war will end? Since the beginning the goal has been nebulous at best and with President Obama there is disinterest in its resolution.Since the Taliban have their allies/safe harbor in Pakistan and make incursions into Afghanistan wouldn’t it be better to just withdraw and react to a resurgent Taliban when that occurs? Or, go into Pakistan and clear them out once and for all.
The Vietnamization of this war by Obama serves no purpose.
Either win the war or get out promptly.

Day By Day by Chris MuirMichael Yon gives Americans the photos of war.Afghanistan has been on the back burner for President Obama and everyone has been hoping that General Petraeus and the American military can do the job and then leave. It is not an easy mission when you have a disinterested commander in chief.
Obama has enough problems with the domestic economy and now union turmoil in Wisconsin. What may, however, push his Presidency over the edge towards only one term is Afghanistan.
This may be the straw that breaks American voters’ desire for Hope and Change or Winning the Future.

Day By Day February 10, 2011 – Main Squeeze
Day By Day by Chris MuirZed is in a bad way in Afghanistan. He is in a ten year long war with a President who cares little except the heat he receives from the Democratic Party and its LEFT anti-war wing.As the spring fighting season begins in Afghanistan, I wonder why the military does not request an additional SURGE to route out the Taliban and the Islamic radicals – even in Pakistan. You must win the ground war, like in Iraq.
President Obama must be committed to this effort or Americans MUST replace him in 2012.

The LEFT ridiculed America’s war effort in Iraq and now Afghanistan with childish slogans – ala Saul Alinsky. Love the Bushitler one. But, now one of their own Barack Obama as President is bombing the hell out of Muslim Extremist Taliban soldiers in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Security forces continue in Iraq.
So, why the silence?
Crickets……

Chris, a high level of audio encryption will be required for Sam’s phone sex conversations with Zed who is in Afghanistan. Yeah, Sam misses him. But, it is a war zone after all……
On the day after the day after, New Yorkers were left wondering what happened. There are still many streets that haven’t seen a plow yet.
“I’m curious as to why none of this has been plowed yet,” one person told CBS 2?s Lou Young. “All the streets around here, very few have been plowed. One was half-plowed.”
“I think they get an F-minus,” said Arlene Buonintane of Queens Village. “I think they really screwed up because, you know, this is ridiculous. You still have ambulances that have to get out. You still have police and firefighters that have to get through and none of the side streets are plowed.”

Chris, Sam certainly knows how to send off her man, Zed – with the important things in life. We know he will want a short tour with what awaits him when he returns stateside.Maybe Zed will return home in July 2011 as President Obama promised.
Doubtful as the Obama Afghanistan deadline has been triangulated to 2014 – after he is out of office!
