But, Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi is FINESSING Charlie Rangel’s tax measure.
Guess they cannot reconcile their positions on what the definition of rich. Go figure.
Anyone want to bet they come together if and when Hillary is elected President?
New York Democrat Representative Charles Rangel
Charlie Rangel calls Rudy a “BUM” – a terrible man.
This shows what a classLESS act Rangel is. But, then again, he always has been a black race baiting fool, now hasn’t he been?
Wonder how much Rudy paid the ol’ POS?

The Army and Marine Corps are planning to ask incoming Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates and Congress to approve permanent increases in personnel, as senior officials in both services assert that the nation’s global military strategy has outstripped their resources.
In addition, the Army will press hard for “full access” to the 346,000-strong Army National Guard and the 196,000-strong Army Reserves by asking Gates to take the politically sensitive step of easing the Pentagon restrictions on the frequency and duration of involuntary call-ups for reservists, according to two senior Army officials.
The push for more ground troops comes as the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have sharply decreased the readiness of Army and Marine Corps units rotating back to the United States, compromising the ability of U.S. ground forces to respond to other potential conflicts around the world.
So, enlarge the Army, the Marine Corps and National Guard. What is so difficult to understand?
It is a dangerous world and the United States is fighting a war on terror.
Will the new Democrat Congress vote for the increases?
You betcha but watch the Earmarks and Pork attached to the bill. And the bellowing from Charlie Rangel to re-institute the draft.
Rep. Charles Rangel of New York, left, greets U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., as she arrives to address the Association for a Better New York (ABNY) breakfast as the guest speaker in New York, Monday, Nov. 13, 2006.
An influential Democratic lawmaker on Sunday called for reinstatement of the draft as a way to boost U.S. troop levels and draw a broader section of the population into the military or public service.
U.S. Rep. Charles Rangel, the incoming chairman of the House of Representatives’ tax-writing committee, said he would introduce legislation to reinstate the draft as soon as the new, Democratic-controlled Congress convenes in January.
Asked on CBS’ “Face the Nation” if he was still serious about the proposal for a universal draft he raised a couple of years ago, he said, “You bet your life. Underscore serious.”
Uh – NO!
The all-volunteer army has been working well the past thirty plus years. Why would America need more troops?
The Iraq War WILL wind down and NATO troop commitments should be decreased. Hence, less troops.
Any Iran incursion would not involve any land troops unless there was a declaration of war. Of course then there would be a massive all nation call-up.
Rangel likes politics and government. This initiative is right in character.
