Ron Paul Watch: Stumps for The November 5 Creep Show

Flap asked the question whether Ron Paul would embrace the November 5th fundraising creep show.Ron Paul answered today – well sort of.
It’s sort of an odd allusion for a fundraising campaign in these days of hypersensitivity to terrorism, even if the Congressman it will benefit is running for president as a Libertarian Republican spoiler who wants to drastically change the way government runs in Washington.
But there was Ron Paul on the stump at Clemson in South Carolina telling a group of several hundred students and supporters, “Remember, remember the 5th of November.”
Paul clarified at the rally that he is not involved in this particular fundraising effort.
Ron Paul will disavow participation in this creep show fundraising event but will keep the money, right?
Where have we heard that before?
Well, it is the same answer that supporters of Ron Paul give to everything that seems weird or unseemly. The answer is becoming a habit.
By the way, the ad hyping this November 5th event and directing people to the website which then redirects people to Ron Paul’s official site where they can make a contribution remains on the Neo-Nazi discussion board, Stormfront.org.
But, Paul doesn’t have anythng to do with his either – but he will take the money.

Now the Ron Paul spammers are hacking into the FAKE Rudy Giuliani forum and blaming the entire FLAP on a Giuliani PAID writer, Sarah Lai Stirland. Flap linked to her piece yesterday about the BOTNETS and Ron Paul.
Allah over at Hot Air has more of the FLAP.
Check out what the Ron Paul spammers did to the Rudy Giuliani forum:
Check out some of the threads and see how Ron Paul spammers have hijacked them to smear Giuliani, promote Ron Paul or smear Tech writer Sarah Lai Stirland – trolls that they ARE.
Of course, the Ron Paul Campaign for President will deny knowledge of this activity nor repudiate it – sort of like Don Black and Stormfront.org.
Pathetic……..

Ron Paul Watch: Neo-Nazi Leader Don Black Donates to Ron Paul Campaign – The RESPONSE
The Lone Star Times FINALLY received a response from the Ron Paul for President campaign. So, what did the campaign say?
Not much of a repudiation of the Neo-Nazi and his White Supremacist web site but just enough of a distancing.
They didn’t condemn Don Black and Stormfront.org but nor did they support them either. The Stormfront folks cannot be too happy but if they are not raising RP alot of cash what does Ron Paul and his campaign care, right?

Ron Paul Watch: Neo-Nazi Leader Don Black Donates to Ron Paul Campaign Part Two
The Lone Star Times has an exclusive post about Neo-Nazi White Nationalist Leader Don Black having contributed at least $500.00 to the Ron Paul for President campaign.
Flap has written about Stormfront.org and the in-kind advertising the Neo-Nazi website is donating to the Paul campaign.
And Flap wondered when and if the Ron Paul campaign for President would disavow HIS association with a Neo-Nazi and his White Nationalist web site.
The Lone Star Times has been in contact with the Paul campaign as has a reader of this blog Gregor Morrill who writes:Hello,
It was brought to my attention through a blog post that the “Ron Paul 2008 – Raising to Win†online widget appears on the Stormfront web site.

Myself and others did not believe this was credible, given the type of site that it is, and learned that it’s a campaign widget that anyone can copy and paste on their web site. According to its statistics, the widget appears on over 2000 sites currently. So a couple questions:1) Is the Ron Paul campaign aware of and tracking all the sites that this widget is placed on? Do you actively filter which sites may or may not display the ad?
2) What is the campaign’s policy towards hate sites (such as Stormfront) advertising for Ron Paul’s campaign?
3) Will the campaign repudiate Stormfront and ask them to remove the ad?The blog post I referred to above can be found at: http://flapsblog.com/?p=5758Thank you for your time,Gregor MorrillAnd who follows up with this comment:
Comment by Gregor Morrill
Who sent the second email? We all know you didn’t.
FYI: Justine Lam (eCampaign Director) did reply to my email. She’s also having Jesse Benton (Communications Director) or Don Rasmussen (position unknown) follow up with me.
I’ll blog it when I hear from them.
Well, Gregor, Flap, National Review, the Lone Star Times and America continues to wait. Why doesn’t Ron Paul simply return Don Black’s contribution and any contributions from the Neo-Nazis?Does Ron Paul need the money? Or does he care that his image is being associated with a Neo-Nazi White Supremacist? By the way, the campaign donation solicitation remains on the Stormfront.org site this morning.Or is Paul turning a deaf ear to wink at the Neo-Nazi association while cashing the check?
What say you Ron Paul? And, please don’t say you don’t or didn’t know about the Don Black check and Stormfront association with your campaign.
Maybe you can explain your association with Don Black with Jay Leno tonight?
Dr. Paul, it is up to you.

Ron Paul Watch: Neo-Nazi Leader Don Black Donates to Ron Paul Campaign
The Lone Star Times has an exclusive post about Neo-Nazi White Nationalist Leader Don Black having contributed at least $500.00 to the Ron Paul for President campaign.
Flap has written about Stormfront.org and the in-kind advertising the Neo-Nazi website is donating to the Paul campaign.
Don Black is an American white nationalist neo-Nazi. He is the founder and current webmaster of the “Stormfront” forum and former Grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). He was convicted in 1981 for attempted armed overthrow of the Dominican government in violation of the U.S. Neutrality Act.
In 1995, Black founded Stormfront becoming one of the first white nationalists on the Internet. Stormfront featured the writings of William Luther Pierce and David Duke, as well as works by the Institute for Historical Review. Initially, along with these articles, Stormfront housed a library of white pride, neo-Nazi, and skinhead graphics for downloading, and a number of links to other white nationalist websites.
Ron Paul has accepted monetary contributions from White Nationalist Neo-Nazis.
Ron Paul’s campaign for President has accepted in-kind advertising on a Neo-Nazi website, Stormfront.com.
Ron Paul has been endorsed by StormFront Radio.

What does Ron Paul say about these endorsements?
NOTHING.
Does Paul endorse the views expressed by this former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan and his Neo-Nazi “HATE” website or is he just taking their money and giving them a wink?
Is Paul anyway associated with the White Supremacists and the KKK?
Dr. Paul, why are you being silent? Are your foreign policy views on Israel being driven by a hatred of Jews and anti-Semitism?
As Ron Paul’s $5 million worth of advertising begins today in New Hampshire, the public must receive answers to these questions.
Silence, (and the Lone StarTimes and Flapsblog have made numerous inquiries of the Ron Paul for President campaign) means acceptance.
What say you, Ron Paul?

Ron Paul Watch: The Red State Ban Part Two
Eric Erickson of RedState STRIKES BACK at David All and Captain Ed Morrissey as Flap did yesterday in response to their comments in this New York Times piece.
David is entitled to his opinion and to riding our story into the media spotlight as a professional tech consultant if he wants, but I have to question if he is too enamored by the technology the Ron Paul supporters use to see clearly what we’ve experienced, what we’ve done, and if he really, really wants these folks in his anti-Hillary coalition.
As regular readers know, we’ve deleted all the recent offending comments and posts and shut down accounts. But, as regular readers know, the following emails I’ve gotten since we imposed the ban are also fairly identical to the types of comments and diaries we’ve shut down:….
Indeed, Flap has received his own incendiary NUTSOID comments such as these (including some that are profane and I will not reprint):
Comment by Mike
Jews are not holy. They are not tolerant. They enjoy the dispossession and supression of whites. They have enjoyed the exploitation of Europeans. They do not like generally to live in non-white “developing†countries. They do not raise a cry about “multiculturalism†in asian countries like they do in European countries!
********
That is bull. Why should Mr Paul demand Stormfront withdraw their support of his campaign? I am a member of Stormfront and I know there is some “hate†stuff promoted by some, but if you read the majority of what is posted there…its pro white.
What is wrong with being pro-white? We are a proud people who have contributed much to our civilization and have contributed to the up keep of other countries as well. We have always been a people to give to those less fortunate then we have been. Look at all the money we have sent to all of the third world countries. They never pay us back and yet we keep sending to money to them. Have you looked, really looked lately at our own country? It is being over run by illegal aliens… in some of our southern states, hospitals are shutting down because they can no longer stay open and take care of these people.
We are a proud people…I am! I am proud to be white and I will not allow anyone to dictate to me…that I should hang my head because I am white and want to support another American for wanting to get us out of wars we do not belong in.
I support our troops as most people at Stormfront do. We just want to brought back home to take care of our own invasion. Our southern states are over run and our own government will not stop this before the south becomes another part of Mexico. If you don’t believe this …then get on the net…take a little vacation to the states of New Mexico, Arkansaw…especially the NW area, California, Arizona…I know my own state of Illinois is starting to be over run with them in Chicago.
Yes, we at Stormfront support Ron Paul and will continue to do so. I do not believe he has to be a White Nationalist for anyone to support him, tho I wish he were. He is an American who is trying to give back to America what we once had. A government for the people and by the people.
Wake up, before you find yourself a second class citizen … if you are not already! Please wake up … we are in a war here to preserve the future for all white children. What is wrong with that? Why do our kids have to be bused to a place where there are nothing but other races there? Why can’t they stay in their own neighborhoods as it was when I was a child. No, I was not in the better parts of town which had better schools as some where in my town, but at least I went to school with those of my own race. What is wrong with that?
Blacks have the black college funds…we don’t because we would be called racists.
Blacks have their own tv channels…we don’t because we would be called racists.Jews have their own college funds…and they don’t even follow the rules the ADL says we have to follow here in the United States Of America. Why?
I am truly not a person who “hates†other races … I just want to be allowed to love my own race and be proud to say I am white…and that my race has contributed many great leaders for our world. Stormfront talks about these kinds of things…we want our troops home…what is wrong with that, we need them on our own borders. We do not want to protect a country which doesn’t even follow the rules the ADL wants to shove down our throats.
Wake up America you are being had…all races have been had and they’d better find out the enemy is not the white race…it never has been. We have helped all races ,… when are they going to return the favor?
Ron Paul, is a start…wake up!
**********As I said yesterday:Earth to David. When Ron Paul loses the GOP nomination his enthusiastic supporters and most of his voters will MOVE back to the Libertarian, Constitution and Reform Parties. Why do you think the Paul campaign is encouraging GOP voter registration? Most of their people have not been nor ever will be registered GOP voters.
RedState can do and have done what is best for them. The Paulites have plenty of outlets for their enthusiasm and internet clamor. Ron Paul should hope that after he throws in the Presidential towel that some of them may stick around to help in the destined GOP primary challenge to him in his Texas Congressional District.
Perhaps Paul will marshall them to run on the Libertarian Party Presidential ticket once again? And, then retire.
Eric, I agree and do with your site as you feel best. I understand your frustration.Previous:

Ron Paul Watch: The Red State Ban
Conservative Blog RedState.com has banned pimping for Ron Paul on their site.
Flap has been slow to reporting this since he has been involved with his own Ron Paul Flap and stormfront.org.
Effective immediately, new users may *not* shill for Ron Paul in any way shape, form or fashion. Not in comments, not in diaries, nada. If your account is less than 6 months old, you can talk about something else, you can participate in the other threads and be your zany libertarian self all you want, but you cannot pimp Ron Paul. Those with accounts more than six months old may proceed as normal.
Now, I could offer a long-winded explanation for *why* this new policy is being instituted, but I’m guessing that most of you can probably guess. Unless you lack the self-awareness to understand just how annoying, time-consuming, and bandwidth-wasting responding to the same idiotic arguments from a bunch of liberals pretending to be Republicans can be. Which, judging by your comment history, you really don’t understand, so allow me to offer an alternate explanation: we are a bunch of fascists and we’re upset that you’ve discovered where we keep the black helicopters, so we’re silencing you in an attempt to keep you from warning the rest of your brethren so we can round you all up and send you to re-education camps all at once.
Is this understandable?
Yes, if the owners of RedState.com are tired of the incessant, ADDHD enthusiasm and zeal of the Paulites. Certainly, it is a chore to babysit these folks.
Does it matter?
Probably not, since the Paulites turn off as many folks as the recruit for Ron Paul’s candidacy. Some Paulites even acknowledge this at their own forums at ronpaulforums.com. Check it out for yourself. Some of the discussions are enlightening to the inner workings of a laizze fair Presidential campaign.
But, some in the RIGHT blogosphere are not so sure.
It’s their community, of course, and they set the rules. However, this doesn’t hurt Paul’s credibility as much as it does Redstate’s. While Paul’s supporters tend towards the annoying and repetitive, they have less impact because we can easily engage them and counter their arguments. Banning them simply for their support for a candidate seems more like an admission that Redstate lacks that ability.
Captain Ed Morrissey sounds more like the radio personality that he is becoming, willing to interview Paul and leaving the flak to boost ratings. Ed, you learning your lessons from Hugh Hewitt?
David All at techrepublican.com has it wrong as well:
I agree with Captain Ed. Generally, Republicans need to welcome Ron Paul (and all others willing to wear a Republican banner) to the debate and the discussion. If Ron Paul doesn’t win the nomination, we need him to actively endorse and support the winner so that his supporters will use their energy to defeat Hillary.
Earth to David. When Ron Paul loses the GOP nomination his enthusiastic supporters and most of his voters will MOVE back to the Libertarian, Constitutuon and Reform Parties.
By the way, the November 5th fundraising ad for Paul continues on the Neo-Nazi stormfront.org today.

Ron Paul Watch: Paul Campaign Solicitation on Neo-Nazi Hate Site – The FLAP Part Two
This FLAP continues over at Hot Air.
And Allah has some questions:
1. Is it possible to do some sort of ad buy across a whole swath of online bulletin boards such that any mention of Ron Paul on one of those boards will automatically trigger placement of the ad? If so, it would absolve the November 5th people from the charge of deliberately advertising on Stormfront.
2. If it is possible, is it also possible to designate certain bulletin boards as no-go areas where the ad shouldn’t appear, even if Paul is mentioned? That would point back towards deliberation, which, let’s face it, isn’t all that unlikely from a site predisposed to “V for Vendetta†metaphors.
Flap doesn’t know the answer because since the original Flap the widget and ad have changed. Look at the latest on Stormfront.org:
Is the Ron Paul campaign involved?
This e-mail from a Flapsblog commenter Gregor has been forwarded to them:
**********
Hello,
It was brought to my attention through a blog post that the “Ron Paul 2008 – Raising to Win” online widget appears on the Stormfront web site.
Stormfront is:

Well, the widget has changed and now there is a disclaimer on the November 5 site.
*note: This event is a grassroots effort and is not associated with the Official Ron Paul campaign. Donations are to be made ONLY at the Official Ron Paul website at RonPaul2008.com.
At whose direction was this done, anyone knows. Was it the Ron Paul campaign? Or was it the Stormfront folks who wanted to diffuse the flap?
Who knows?
Accordingly, Flap’s original post headline was changed.
So, what is the Flap here?
Is it that Ron Paul is sucking up to the Neo-Nazis to raise campaign cash?
Or is it as a commenter at Hot Air ( Keljeck on October 23, 2007 at 10:18 AM) asks:
The story isn’t that there is a Ron Paul ad on Stormfront, it’s that Stormfront is ghey to Ron Paul.
Flap awaits the Ron Paul campaign’s response.
Update:
The Lone Star Times has already asked the same questions of the Ron Paul Campaign days ago and is continuing to wait for an answer.
And there are ads on other sites: ‘White World Newsâ€
Will the Ron Paul Campaign continue to stonewall?
Update #2
Almost two weeks ago Stormfront Radio endorsed Ron Paul:

Now, what say you Ron Paul Campaign? Do you support this reprehensible organization?
Will you demand Stormfront.org take down your ads?
Or is the money too good?
Stay tuned…….

Ron Paul Watch: Paul Campaign Solicitation on Neo-Nazi Hate Site – The FLAP
Why does Congressman Ron Paul have campaign ads on a White Nationalist Neo-Nazi Bulletin Board (stormfront.org) which is listed as a hate site?
The Stormfront White Nationalist Community is a white pride Internet forum with the motto “White Pride World Wide”. Many organizations describe it as a neo-Nazi organization, and accuse it of promoting racism, hate speech, and violence.[1][2][3] It has been listed as a hate site, and a number of Internet content filters prevent access to it.[4][5] In Germany, access to Stormfront is blocked by some ISPs in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.[6][7]
Stormfront is owned by Don Black, a former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan who was a member of the American Nazi Party in the 1970s.[8][9]In 1981, Black was arrested as he prepared to board a boat stocked with weapons and ammunition to invade Dominica in what he and his accomplices dubbed Operation Red Dog. Black was sentenced to three years in prison for his role in the attempted invasion. He created the website after receiving his first computer training in prison.[10]
The ad:
The Ron Paul discussion thread at Stormfront is here.
Flap was alerted to the association of Congressman Ron Paul from this piece at the Huffington Post: To His Dismay, Ron Paul Becoming Magnet For White Supremacists
Through no fault of his own, Rep. Ron Paul’s anti-globalist, anti-government campaign for the Republican presidential nomination has become a magnet in neo-Nazi networks, pulling in activists and supporters from the fringe white nationalist community where anti-Semitism, anti-black and anti-immigrant views are commonplace.
In some cases, these internet-based activists acknowledge that even though the Paul campaign does not have a racist or anti-Semitic agenda, it can serve as a vehicle to find sympathizers and to recruit new loyalists drawn to the Republican congressman’s opposition to international trade agreements, federal police authority and to the income tax.
Such web-based organizations as Stormfront (motto: “White Pride, World Wide”), Vanguard News Network (“No Jews. Just Right.”) and the Nationalist Coalition (“working to create the relationships that will lay the foundation for the White community that is necessary to our survival”) have become sources of support for Paul’s bid for the Republican nomination, and in some cases have set up separate Ron Paul discussion groups.
At the GOP debate tomorrow, the GOP candidates for President should ask Congressman Paul about this ad and ask him if he subscribes to the filth and hate that is promoted at Stormfront.
All of the GOP candidates should DEMAND that Paul REPUDIATES this site, pulls his ad and returns any money contributed by these Neo-Nazis.
And, Flap has a question for Ron Paul: Are you an anti-Semite, sir?
Stay tuned…….
