At the rate President Obama has been appointing tax cheats to his Cabinet, by April 15th he still may not have a full one.

    Let’s see:

    • Tom Daschle – Secretary of Health and Human Services
    • Timothy Geithner, Secretary of the Treasury
    • Hilda Solis, Secretary of Labor

Yeah, Chris, you may very well be correct – a lonely time for the President.

After President Obama “screwed up” with the Tom Daschle appointment as HHS Secretary, he is left with no one to shepherd his universal health care program through the Congress. How any President could consider a “tax cheat” and whored out lobbyist to the LEFT as someone to undertake such a program is really beyond belief.

Now, President Obama, what about your “tax cheat” Timothy Geithner as Treasury Secretary? Shouldn’t Geithner resign as well?

Obama’s reputation has been tainted with these appointments and it is becoming apparent that “The One” is wearing NO clothes.

Get Out the Crying Towel for Tom Daschle: He is OUT Again

    Daschle-withdraws
Tom Daschle, former Democrat Senate Majority Leader who was defeated for re-election by the GOP is out AGAIN as he withdraws his nomination for Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Tom Daschle has withdrawn his nomination to be Health and Human Services secretary.

That’s according to a joint White House statement from President Barack Obama and his former nominee.

Obama said Tuesday he accepted the withdrawal “with sadness and regret.”

Daschle has been battling for his nomination since it was disclosed he failed to pay more than $120,000 in taxes.

He said he’s withdrawing because he’s not a leader who has the full faith of Congress and will be a distraction.

Surprised they did not mention his ethical problems with lobbyist contributions and his ties to Left-Wing donor Leo Hendry.

The failure to pay the taxes should have been enough.

Exit question: Who will be the next Obama nominee to fall because of a tax problem?

Get Out The Crying Towel: Tom Daschle Apologizes for Failing to Pay $120,000 in Taxes

    Daschle-Nobodys-Perfect

First there was the Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner who failed to pay $34,000 in taxes and now former Senate Democrat Majority Leader Tom Daschle who failed to pay $120K.

Damn, don’t any of Obama’s Cabinet picks pay their taxes on time? Or obey the tax rules of ordinary Americans?

So, get out the crying towel for Dasche as he supplicated himself before a closed-door session of the United States Senate.

Fighting to salvage his Cabinet nomination, Tom Daschle pleaded his case Monday evening in a closed meeting with former Senate colleagues after publicly apologizing for failing to pay more than $120,000 in taxes. President Barack Obama said he was “absolutely” sticking with his nominee for health secretary, and a key senator added an important endorsement.

The White House both underscored the magnitude of the problem and tried to downplay it in the space of seven words. “Nobody’s perfect,” said press secretary Robert Gibbs. “It was a serious mistake. …”

Nobody was predicting defeat for Daschle’s nomination as secretary of health and human services, but it was proving an unsavory pill to swallow for senators who only last week confirmed Timothy Geithner as treasury secretary despite his separate tax-payment problems. It’s an issue that strikes a nerve among lawmakers’ constituents who are struggling with their own serious money problems.

The only consistency we have in seen lately in the Obama Administration is that Cabinet appointees have tax problems.

    Good grief……

By the way, Tom Daschle will likely be confirmed with the help of BO (Bend Over) Republicans who respect “CLUB SENATE” more than the taxpayers who sent them there.
