John Edwards finally confesses, sort of, on ABC News. He admits he lied repeatedly about his affair with Rielle Hunter, but denies he's the father of her child and specifically seems to be trying to deny cheating on his wife after the recurrence of her illness:

Ahh.. Sweet. The fallout begins. Been waiting for this for months. I knew it was going to happen. Next thing there’ll be more info about who paid for her upkeep and why the Edwards campaign was paying for her services, and what Edwards knew and the baby and well… Its gonna be a good one month, at the very least.
