Another favorable national GOP poll for the Mayor. Although he has slipped in the averages below 30% he continues to maintain an almost ldigit lead against Fred Thompson who is fading precipitously. The trend lines for all candidates except for the Mayor have been stagnant or declining.

An interesting note to all of the Ron Paul fans. He is currently in 7th place. Money doesn’t buy you love, eh?

Interesting analysis. You say, “The trend lines for all candidates except for the Mayor have been stagnant or declining.” I guess you didn’t notice that little yellow line that has been rising steadily. Over the past 2 weeks, Governor Romney has gained 4 points, while Mayor Giuliani’s bumpy ride nets him 1. Since February, the Mayor is down 3, while the Governor is up 6. Slow but steady wins the race.

No bumpy ride for the Mayor, but this is a moving average. His trend has been upward since May.

What you fail to point out is that Romney has declined before nudging upward. 15 to 20 plus points behind.

Mitt has been around 10% since April. This nets him either 3rd or 4th place.
