Day By Day by Chris Muir June 29, 2008
John McCain supported “comprehensive” illegal immigration reform and spear-headed the compromise bill with Teddy Kennedy.
What you see is what you get?
McCain is “SOFT” on illegal aliens and the GOP will have to live with it.
Flap bets that Obama would be tougher than McCain on employer sanctons.

Like as not, Obama will be to the right of McCain on immigration. He has a sneaky habit of finding a consensus on things like this. McCain, on the other hand, will move a whole lot towards the left, cause he most likely won’t be running for another election if he becomes the President, and he’d desperately like to stick it to all the conservatives he’s been pandering to in the last couple of years.

Very true.
Obama may be a four year answer to a resurgence of the GOP particularly a younger generation and in Congress.
