Day By Day by Chris Muir

Was this the hopey and changey thing that Sarah Palin was discussing the other night at the National Tea Party Convention?

Or was the President and his wife just trying to stimulate the economy by hiring more secretaries for the First Lady?

No matter – American voters are out of work and this is a slap in their face.

daybyday020810 Day By Day February 8, 2010 - Obamas Crib

Day By Day by Chris Muir

I was actually surprised when Sarah Palin delivered her address to the National Tea Party Convention this past Saturday evening in that she did not use a teleprompter. She gave such a great and seemless speech two summers ago at the Republican National Convention in Minnesota via teleprompter. Did she discard the mechanical device to contrast herself from Obama?

And, now the LEFT is carping about Palin writing a few notes on her hand during the  Q & A.

While I agree the Left’s freak out over Palin’s hand note is getting silly, people should at least be honest in addressing the issue at hand, if you will. Quote below from Founding Bloggers. The notes had nothing to do with her speech. They were for the Q & A, which is when she actually referred to them. She read the damned speech, doh!

Chris, should there be a teleprompter falure for the President, Obama is sunk and impromptu (non-scripted) Q & A debate sessions with Hillary Clinton as the foil were not pretty. How about his nationally televised news conferences? Plodding at best.

Why is everyone comparing Sarah Palin, a media pundit now, to the President anyway?

One wonders if the race for the Presidency in 2010 has already started.

daybyday020710 Day By Day February 7, 2010 - Snowjob

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Wonder if any media types will be invited today to the White House since with the snow their Direct TV statellites may be inoperable because of the snow?

The Obama Administration will have to work overtime in the PR department now that the bloom has come off the Obama rose.

As Sarah Palin mentioned last night – the hope and changey thing…..

Somehow, I think the race for 2012 started last night with Palin’s Tea Party Convention speech.

daybyday020610 Day By Day February 6, 2010 - Union Raise

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Ahhhhh the old raise, eh?

And, what is it up the Democrats trying to implement union card check by regulation rather than legislation? This will fly about as well as Obamacare being passed by the process of budget reconciliation.

Today, Ronald Reagan would have celebrated his 99th birthday. Stay tuned for next year’s 100th birthday celebration at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Andrew Sullivan is a MORON with his persistent perverted notions that Trig is NOT Sarah Palin’s child. One wonders why The Atlantic puts up this crap.

But, SEX SELLS.

daybyday020310 Day By Day February 3, 2010 - Hot Err

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Well, the MSM has been slow to publish the outright lies and the scandal surrounding man-made global warming and climate change.

This is a tough time for climate science. The Guardian’s new revelations about the hacked emails from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia might help to explain the university’s utter failure to confront its critics. They could also explain why the head of the unit, Phil Jones, blocked freedom of information requests and proposed that material subject to those requests be deleted. He has been spared a criminal investigation only because the time limit for prosecutions has expired.

The emails I read gave me the impression that Phil Jones had something to hide. Now we know what it might have been. The Guardian has discovered that Jones appears to have suppressed data that undermines a paper he published in Nature in 1990. The paper claimed that Chinese weather stations show that local heating
caused by urbanisation has very little effect on the temperature record. It now seems that much of the data they used is worthless and the documents required to validate it do not exist. The paper might be 20 years old, but in a way that makes the scandal worse: Phil Jones has had 20 years in which to issue a correction. Even after the hacking in October last year, he has still not done so.

And, we are all paying for the bogus climate change science.

What we need is for some impartial, non-political agenda driven science. Is that too much to ask?
