Cuba Watch: Is Fidel Castro Dead?

Pajamas Media: Rumors Fly of Castro’s Death
According to Babalu Blog and, Pajamas Media has learned, some Miami radio stations… Fidel Castro is dead! Pajamas Media is investigating.
Meanwhile, a debate rages over whether Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla) urged the killing of the Comandante, a difficult thing to do if he is already dead. (NYT)
UPDATE: Spanish Radio said to have reported Castro dead. Miami police on alert. The Miami Herald comments on recent photographs of the dictator.

May he have a Merry Christmas, no one else in Cuba will. Perhaps, now the families can get back together etc.

even if he is dead, you know the cuban gov. won’t come out and say anything right away. they will make preperations for his funeral by dramatizing his death and subsequent cult of personality worship rally before announcing anything. his funeral will probably be very extravagant given that his closest friends in hollywood; i.e. oliver stone, jane fonda, alec baldwin, george clooney (the cooney), rosie o’donnel; will lend tremendous aid and support in creating the stage work for his funeral.
