Mike Huckabee,  President 2008

Vote for Mike Huckabee in South Carolina Tomorrow

Republican presidential hopeful former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee speaks at a campaign stop at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, S.C. Friday, Jan. 18, 2008.

South Carolina GOP voters tomorrow MUST vote for Mike Huckabee.

Everyone knows Flap is a Rudy Giuliani guy. But, if John McCain wins tomorrow McCain may have enough built in momentum to challenge Rudy in Florida in a week. He may have enough Mo to win it all.

The same goes for Mitt Romney supporters. If you want Mitt to have a chance in Florida and Super Tuesday you MUST vote for Mike Huckabee tomorrow.

Do NOT let John McCain win the GOP nomination. McCain will continue to be detrimental to the Republican Party.

So, Flap agrees with Patrick Ruffini completely.

Rudy and Romney supporters vote Huckabee tomorrow.

This is stupid and pathetic. If your candidate’s strategy turns out to be a mistake, don’t take it out on the rest of South Carolina and deprive her of her say in the election. The ends don’t justify the means.

The fact is that if Rudy and Romney voters want a chance to vote for THEIR candidate. A vote for Huckabee tomorrow in South Carolina is a vote for Rudy or Mitt.

    Vote Huckabee tomorrow!

What are you talking about? Rudy and Romney will still be on the ballot no matter what happens tomorrow. You will have the chance to vote for Rudy.

  • Flap

    It is called momentum……..

McCain will gain too much with a South Carolina win and will hurt Rudy and Romney.

    So, Vote Huckabee.

A vote for Huckabee is a vote for Rudy and Mitt.

Whatever happened to Thompson in SC? I thought he was a sure winner for SC or so the media and Rasmussen told us for months! McCain needs to lose another one IMO. Frankly I would love to see a close race with McCain 3rd or 4th. If McCain were the nominee it would be like the GOP having no nominee IMO because McCain is more Dem then Republican and he would probably reach out to a Dem for VP or fill his cabinet with almost all Dems.

McCain was against tax cuts when Pres Bush first announced them after taking office and now he wants us to believe he is for them. His record of tax cuts is that of most Democrats. Never have figured out why he stayed a Republican when most of his bills are co-sponsored with Dems and he considered becoming Kerry’s VP nominee.

    Say NO to McCain!

The only way McCain wins South Carolina is if Thompson and Huckabee manage to divide the evangelical vote, leaving a tiny hole for McCain to sqeeze through. So, if I were to need a slogan to bring McCain down, I’d say it would be ‘Don’t vote for Thompson’.

I just read a column by Byron York ( whom I respect ) who just doesn’t get Rudy’s strategy. He understands Rudy’s decision to bypass Iowa, and to a certain extent New Hampshire, but doesn’t understand why he did the same with Michigan and South Carolina, since Rudy was leading in Michigan as late as December and was tied for the lead in South Carolina in November.

Based on the result in Michigan, it would seem that favorite son Romney would have won that state, regardless. However, Rudy never really campaigned or advertised in the state. He was doing well in the Palmetto state unitl Huckabee and his religious bent made a surge. Maybe Rudy made the right decision as to both states, but man he is a gambler.

If things don’t turn out as planned, one can argue that Rudy gave away too much to the candidate who becomes the nominee ( perhaps McCain in this case ).

    Your thoughts?

I’d say that Rudy is one smart cookie. Way I see it, South Carolina has a history of deciding who the eventual nominee is going to be. By not contesting until after South Carolina, where voters don’t see things same as him, he removes the stigma of being a loser. Same applies for Romney, who decided just in time to skip it. And as proof, consider the thought that out of McCain, Huckabee and Thompson, only one of them will be in contention after South Carolina.

I am having a hard time believing the South Carolina primary determines anything as I have seen a new side to Huckabee and Thompson that is extremely disheartening. If Huckabee is the Bible belts dream guy and their idea of a Christian…I may have to sit this election out if he is chosen as the Replican candidate. He is the most un Christlike candidate I have ever observed. I admired him in Dec. Thought he had integrity….A Christian is Christlike…does not make comments about what he would do with a flag pole…does not criticize others for something he is the master of. Huckabee became a different person as soon as he won Iowa…and he
scares me…twists things, judges others on things not related to their becoming
President…spends too much time trying to convince us he a Christian…let me see it Mike…not hear it…
Look up hypocrite in Websters…hello Huckabee.
Shame on you. Thompson needs to become a candidate and leave the acting career at home. I am scared for our nation with what I am hearing from South Carolina…
Christians have compassion for others…where is the compassion for those that were hurt by the Confederate flag? Shame on you Huckabee. You are an embarrassment to the word Christian.
