Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, January 22, 2008
Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum says John McCain is “out of touch with the needs of Florida voters,†due to his opposition to the National Catastrophic fund – which Rudy Giuliani supports.
The gloves are off in Florida.
Florida voters must understand that a vote for McCain is a vote for Democrat Party economics.
McCain is NOT a fiscal conservative.

Flap,
I will attempt to get this information from Rudy’s campaign, but do you have any idea how the number of registered republicans in the panhandle of Florida compares to the number in the counties of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach? Rudy is going gang busters in these three counties, but I assume he will not do as well in the more conservative nothern panhandle.

Dennis,
I don’t know. although I can feel the momentum has shifted toward Rudy.
How do I know?
The New York Times attacked him this morning. LOL…..
John
I don’t think Florida will be the next wining place for McCain. He hasn’t maintain any close level of relationship with many people in Florida…

Tallahassee the largest city by far in the Panhandle is 2/3 Democrat. If you have driven the FL Panhandle you see that the number of people there is relatively small. Mostly it is the three main bases — Pensacola NAS, Eglin AFB, and Tyndall AFB and they are along the Gulf Coast. Not much on I-10 as you drive through the Panhandle and not many voters outside of Tallahassee.
South FL is wall to wall people so on that alone you would have many more voters in the three south Florida counties and it is by a lot.

And, this is the first primary where only registered Republicans can vote. Don’t think McCain will do as well as the MSM hypes him to do.
