Robert Novak Retires
Journalist/Columnist Robert Novak
Robert Novak has decided to retire after being diagnosed last week with brain cancer.
His nickname inside the Beltway was the “Prince of Darkness” and after Flap met him at Pat Buchanan’s house in the 90’s I understood the moniker well.
Novak’s prognosis is “dire” and will treat his cancer with radiation and chemotherapy.
A sad day for American political journalism.

Sad day indeed. I reckon after Karl Rove, Novak is the one whose very mention gets the kos gang frothing and swearing. Difficult to replace anyone who can manage to arouse such intense passion.
