OOPS: Jill Biden Spills the Beans – Hillary Clinton Second Choice for Secretary of State

Jill Biden and Joe Biden talk to Oprah and Jill reveals too much

So, Hillary Clinton is “The Second” Secretary of State choice of Barack Obama, that is, as Jill Biden sets the Clintons straight.

Appearing on Oprah Winfrey’s show this afternoon, Jill Biden, wife of Vice-President elect Joe Biden, made a verbal gaffe that could land the Obama Administration in some hot water. Mrs. Biden let slip that her husband Joe was offered a choice of either the Secretary of State’s position or the Vice-Presidency.

The potential problem for the Obama Administration goes far beyond the obviously embarrassing revelation that Hillary Clinton was actually the second choice for Secretary of State, however. Promising an appointment to a federal office by a candidate in exchange for support is a crime.

Title 18 chapter 29 section 599 of the United States code is very specific about such promises, and the punishment that goes along with making them.

Wow!

Joe Biden had problems with his own gaffes but now he has pissed off the Clinton Cabal and creates a major embarassment for the Obama Administration on the eve of their taking power.

It is only starting for MORE gaffes from slow Joe Biden. Ya gotta love it…….

This secret is meanth to be revealed.. There’s no reason for Hillary Clinton to be disappointed.. At least, among all others, she was also tapped for the post..

it could have been a real disaster, with clinton being the first woman president.
obama is wise giving her this position. whats that saying about keeping your enemies close.

Ouch! Another knife twisted into Hillary’s back, and another thing for Bill to crib about. Bet she threw at least a couple of lamps at someone.

Well, secrets are meant to be revealed just as promises are meant to be broken…

Hillary should not be pissed off or embarrassed because among the other choices, she was still chosen to be the Secretary of State. She must be thankful…after all, she still has the Secretary of State’s position.
