Hilary Duff’s New Teeth – Redone

Y eah, it has been a while since I updated the flap about Hilary Duff’s teeth . Back in the day, Flap was quite critical of Hilary’s new porcelain veneers because, frankly, they looked like horses’ teeth and they marred her appearance.

But, it has come to my attention that last year she had them redone. Some have reported Hilary had them filed down.

Back when she got them, the press gave her a lot of crap, saying they looked like ‘horse teeth’; there have been rumors that she’s since had them filed-down to look more natural. Either way, my vote is that her smile looks gorgeous the way it is now. Do you agree or think her ‘before’ teeth were more flattering? For what it’s worth, she said the reason for getting veneers was that she was always chipping her weak teeth on microphones.

Of course, Hilary could NOT have fired porcelain filed down and/or reshaped without losing the glaze. She had them redone and thank God for that.

But, then again, Flap thought her natural dentition was fine.

What is unflattering in her first picture is the gummy smile beyond the canine. It accents the size of her anteriors and makes her look like she is wearing a denture. The second picture is much improved, but so is the angle of the camera.

i think her first dentist suffered a lot as when i manufacture a crown and it is not very good looking the patient really speak bad about me to every one so imagine the bad reputation that hilary can do, lol

I saw the pictures and i don’t think that the crown is that bad. May be just it is different or may be i saw her after the remake.

I honestly don’t see what the problem here is. I think here new teeth look great and she seems very happy with them. Isn’t that what matters? If she’s in anyway been coerced into making a change to her smile I’m sure it was by the same kind of celebrity criticism as is going on right here!

I guess she wanted a new look. The dentist did a great job at that. I miss her old look, though. I remember watching Lizzie McGuire years ago. That’s the image of Hilary Duff that’s stuck in my head. I bet those who grew up watching her would be shocked at the new look, too. =(
