Iran Nuclear Watch: Ahmadinejad – Iran Will Soon Celebrate Completion of its Nuclear Fuel Program
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, center, parliament speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, right, and Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, left, listen to a speech, during a conference in Tehran, Iran, Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006. Ahmadinejad on Sunday harshly criticized the United Nations Security Council for its threats to impose sanctions on defiant Tehran over its nuclear program.
AP: Iran says nuke program is near complete
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday said Iran would soon celebrate completion of its controversial nuclear fuel program.
“With the wisdom and resistance of the nation, today our position has stabilized. I’m very hopeful that we will be able to hold the big celebration of Iran’s full nuclearization in the current year,” the hard-line president told reporters during a press conference.
Iran’s current calendar year ends on March 20.
The hard-line president also claimed that international community was caving it to Tehran’s demand for a nuclear program. He did not elaborate.
The Iran nuclear “POINT OF NO RETURN” is approaching.
Israel is NOT going to wait for this announcement or any announcement that Iran has sufficient nuclear material to manufacture a nuclear weapon.
Benjamin Netanyahu , former Prime Minister, head of the opposition and Chairman of the Likud Party of Israel gives the key address at a session titled Challanges of the Jewish People at the beginning of the 21st Century on the second day of the General Assembly of United Jewish Communities taking place in Los Angeles, Monday, Nov. 13, 2006.
Haaretz: Netanyahu: It’s 1938 and Iran is Germany; Ahmadinejad is preparing another Holocaust
Drawing a direct analogy between Iran and Nazi Germany, Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu asserted Monday that the Iranian nuclear program posed a threat not only to Israel, but to the entire western world. There was “still time,” however, to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, he said.
“It’s 1938 and Iran is Germany. And Iran is racing to arm itself with atomic bombs,” Netanyahu told delegates to the annual United Jewish Communities General Assembly, repeating the line several times, like a chorus, during his address. “Believe him and stop him,” the opposition leader said of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. “This is what we must do. Everything else pales before this.”
While the Iranian president “denies the Holocaust,” Netanyahu said, “he is preparing another Holocaust for the Jewish state.”

Iran Nuclear Watch: Ahmadinejad – “Israel’s Destruction NEAR”
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, left, shakes hands with Lebanese parliament speaker Nabih Berri, at the start of their meeting in Tehran, Iran , Monday, Nov. 13, 2006.
Ynet: Ahmadinejad: Israel’s destruction near
According to the Iranian media Monday, Iranian President Mahoud Ahmadinejad declared that Israel was destined to ‘disappearance and destruction’ at a council meeting with Iranian ministers.
“The western powers created the Zionist regime in order to expand their control of the area. This regime massacres Palestinians everyday, but since this regime is against nature, we will soon witness its disappearance and destruction,†Ahmadinejad said.
And the United Nations Security council is continuing to DICK AROUND with sanctions due to Iran’s nuclear program?
Why?
And neither will the United States.
The “POINT OF NO RETURN” draws near. Military action is inevitable and imminent.
Stay tuned…….

Iran Nuclear Watch: Israeli Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh – Strike on Iran Possible
Russian Security Council head Igor Ivanov (front L) invites Iran ‘s chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani (front R) to talks as journalists watch in Moscow November 10, 2006. Iran will review relations with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) if the U.N. Security Council presses ahead with a European draft resolution imposing sanctions, Iran’s nuclear negotiator said.
AP: Israel official: Strike on Iran possible
The deputy defense minister suggested Friday that Israel might be forced to launch a military strike against Iran’s disputed nuclear program — the clearest statement yet of such a possibility from a high-ranking official.
“I am not advocating an Israeli pre-emptive military action against Iran and I am aware of its possible repercussions,” Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh, a former general, said in comments published Friday in The Jerusalem Post. “I consider it a last resort. But even the last resort is sometimes the only resort.”
Sneh’s comments did not necessarily reflect the view of Israel’s government or of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, said government spokeswoman Miri Eisin.
Olmert, who was arriving in Washington on Sunday, said he was confident in the U.S. handling of the international standoff over Iran’s nuclear program. The Bush administration and other nations say is a cover for developing atomic weapons, but Tehran says the program is peaceful.
“I have enormous respect for President Bush. He is absolutely committed,” Olmert said in an interview on NBC’s “Today” show. “I know that America will not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons because this is a danger to the whole Western world.”
The “POINT OF NO RETURN” for Israel and the United States is drawing near. Negotiations are going nowhere in the United Nations Security Council regarding punitive sanctions.
A military operation is LIKELY.
Will the American public and Western World tolerate the short-term disruption of oil supplies?
The West will have to adjust.

Hezbollah Watch: Condoleezza Rices Pushes for Hezbollah Disarmament
United Nations peacekeeping forces leave their post in Tiri to patrol the area along the Blue Line that marks the border between Israel and Lebanon on 26 October 2006. UN peacekeepers deployed in Lebanon are unlikely to be able to disarm the militant group Hezbollah, as required under UN Security Council Resolution 1701, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov reportedly said.
AP: Rice presses for Hezbollah’s disarmament
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice stepped up international pressure on Hezbollah to disarm, saying the guerrilla group must surrender its weapons if it wants to remain part of Lebanon’s political process.
Rice, in an interview with the privately owned Lebanese Broadcasting Corp. aired Friday, urged Hezbollah to lay down its arms according to the Aug. 14 cease-fire that ended its 34-day war with Israel, and choose between being a militant group and a legitimate political organization.
As if Hezbollah a client terrorist organization of Iran cares about the political process in Lebanon? UNSC Resoultion 1701 is a joke. Hezbollah will NEVER disarm.
And there WILL be another war with Israel.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice gestures while making remarks at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006.
Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran and Syria, has refused to disarm despite heavy international pressure to surrender its weapons. The group holds 11 seats in the Lebanese parliament and two spots in the Cabinet.
“If Hezbollah wants to be in politics… Hezbollah should be disarmed. You cannot have one foot in terror and the use of violence and the other foot in politics. It just doesn’t work that way,” Rice said.
“Hezbollah has to decide whether it’s going to maintain its terrorist wing and remain a terrorist organization or whether it’s going to … be part the political process,” she added.
Flap’s bet – Hezbollah = TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

Russian President Vladimir Putin(R) listens during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert at the Kremlin in Moscow. Olmert stepped up rhetoric against Iran, saying the its controversial nuclear program could be prevented through intimidation.
Ynet: Olmert: IDF preparing for Iranian threat
Prime Minster Ehud Olmert spoke with a group of 100 Kadima activists at his home in Jerusalem on Sunday and referred to the readiness of the Israel Defense Forces in light of the new dangers faced by Israel, saying that the troops will be trained to face any such threat.
“Our soldiers will be trained to deal with any of the dangers Israel is facing, including the Iranian threat, and we have already begun the work,” he said.
America nor Israel will tolerate a nuclear Iran. Israel will be fighting for their very survival.

Israel at War Watch: Little Pressure on Hezbollah to DISARM
AP: Little pressure on Hezbollah to disarm
Six weeks after the end of the Lebanon war, the militant Hezbollah group is facing little on-the-ground pressure to give up its weapons and disarm — despite a U.N. cease-fire resolution demanding just that.
The leaders of a U.N. peacekeeping force in south Lebanon say the job is not theirs. And Lebanon’s ill-equipped army, some of whose soldiers wear tin-pot helmets and carry outdated M-16 rifles, shows no signs of diving into a confrontation with battle-hardened Hezbollah fighters.
For now, all sides say it’s likely full disarmament will happen only in the future as part of a political solution — despite the U.N. resolution that ended the 34-day war on Aug. 14 and required disarmament.
This demonstrates the fecklessness of the United Natiions and how ineffective United Nations Security Council Resolutions are. The controling resolution is UNSCR 1701 whose text is here.
Just like Flap said the first time.
Since Hezbollah is not disarming a new war with Israel is inevitable.
Stay tuned as both sides rearm……

Iran Nuclear Watch: Israel – Iran its “GREATEST THREAT”
Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni addresses the 61st session of the United Nations General Assembly at U.N. headquarters, Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006.
AP: Israel Calls Iran Its Greatest Threat
The Israeli foreign minister on Wednesday warned that Iranian leaders pose the biggest threat to the world’s values because they “speak proudly” of their wish to destroy Israel and pursue weapons to achieve that objective.
Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni told the annual U.N. General Assembly session that the international community must stand up against Iran, which she claimed is pursuing the weapons to destroy Israel, a reference to its suspect nuclear program.
“There is no greater challenge to our values than that posed by the leaders of Iran,” Livni said.
“They deny and mock the Holocaust. They speak proudly and openly of their desire to wipe Israel off the map. And now, by their actions, they pursue the weapons to achieve this objective, to imperil the region and to threaten the world.”She said Iran’s support of the Islamic militant group Hezbollah in south Lebanon showed the threat it poses to the region. The world must ensure that it enforces the U.N. Security Council resolution that ended more than a month of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, Livni said.
“There is no place for such a regime in the family of nations,” she said.
Iran is Israel’s greatest threat. If Iran develops nuclear weapon manufacturing capability, Iran will immediately warn Israel to remove its people back to some European state/location, convert to Islam or face the “FIRE” of a nuclear WMD HOLOCAUST.
Make NO MISTAKE this is Iran’s intention.
And Israel and the United States WILL NEVER allow this to happen. The United Nations/world community has been so warned.
Israel faced with ULTIMATE extinction watches with serious attention to the fecklessness of the United Nations Secuity Council and their failure to enforce UNSCR 1696. When a “POINT OF NO RETURN” is reached on Iran’s nuclear program, Israel and the United States WILL ACT militarily.
Stay tuned…….

Hizbullah leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, speaking to the Lebanese daily A-Safir Tuesday morning, said his organization would not relinquish its missile and rocket arsenal, Army Radio reported.
Nasrallah said that Hizbullah would use the weapons only if Lebanon was attacked again on a large scale by Israel.
And what about United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701?
This cartoon aptly depicts the situation:
How long will Israel tolerate weak a UNSCR that endangers its security?
Just long enough to rearm…..

Israel at War Watch: Hezbollah: We’re Arming for Second Round
Ynet: Hizbullah: We’re arming for second round
Hizbullah representative in Iran Muhammad Abdullah Sif al-Din, said Wednesday that Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah has a new strategic plan to rearm ahead of the “next round against Israel .
In an interview with the Iranian news agency Fars, al-Din said: “No one can promise us that Israel won’t attack again. Whoever lives as a neighbor to the Zionist regime is in danger and must not save any effort to obtain all of the means to defend himself. We are convinced that there still danger and the situation has not yet been solved. We must, all the time, prepare ourselves for self-defense and to plan for the next stage.”

Israel at War Watch: Israel Rejects End to Lebanon Blockade
UN Secretary General Kofi Annan (L) ducks as he and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert walk past a fruit tree on their way to a joint press conference in Jerusalem. Annan has told Israel to end its crippling blockade of war-devastated Lebanon, but failed to extract any public promise for an immediate halt to the near seven-week siege.
Reuters: Israel rejects U.N. blockade appeal
Israel rejected a call by U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan on Wednesday to lift its air and sea blockade of Lebanon, saying it would only end the 7-week-old siege once all aspects of a ceasefire were in place.
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert also told Annan he would not withdraw Israeli troops fully from southern Lebanon until the full implementation of the ceasefire, which took effect on August 14 and ended 34 days of conflict with Hizbollah guerrillas.
Olmert’s statements effectively amounted to a rejection of the two main requests Annan had come to Jerusalem to discuss, but Annan later played down the differences of opinion, saying his and Olmert’s thinking were not so far apart.
And why should Israel completely disengage from Lebanon prior to full implementation of UNSCR 1701? And enable the rearming/resupplying of Hezbollah by land and sea?
Is Annan a NUT or just an apologist and facilitator for the Islamofascists?
Probably the latter.
Israel may have performed poorly in the war with Hezbollah but Prime Minister Olmert is NOT that STUPID.
Olmert said any relaxation of pressure on Lebanon’s ports and airspace depended on the full implementation of U.N. resolution 1701, which governs the ceasefire with Hizbollah.
“The (resolution) is a fixed buffet and everything will be implemented, including the lifting of the blockade, as part of the entire implementation of the different articles,” he said.
Olmert was equally firm when Annan suggested Israel should withdraw its troops from Lebanon within “days or weeks” once up to 5,000 U.N.-backed peacekeepers are on the ground.
“Israel will pull out of Lebanon once the resolution is implemented,” Olmert said, indicating a longer timeline.
Indeed…..
Stay tuned……
