LA Times: Outside The Tent

The Los Angeles Times Outside the Tent feature: An experimental column in which the Los Angeles Times invites outside critics to rip a Southern California newspaper whose most popular features include a weekly column on celebrity real estate transactions reappears today after an over thirty day day absence.

Today’s piece is written by Gustavo Arellano, a staff writer with OC Weekly and fourth-generation Orange Countian. In his arcane story, Arellano bitches and moans for far too many column inches why the Los Angeles Times should cover the big “OC” – Orange County.

Hey Gustavo…..it is the Los Angeles Times not the Santa Ana or Laguna Beach Times.

We readers in Ventura County have the Ventura County Star and Orange County readers have the Orange County Register.

Let the Los Angeles Times be the Los Angeles newspaper.
