Dianne Feinstein Watch: Snubs Westly and Endorses Angelides

Sacramento Bee Columnist and blogger, Dan Weintraub, is reporting that California Senator Dianne Feinstein has endorsed California Treasurer, Phil Angelides, in the Democrat Gubernatorial primary election, June 2006.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein is endorsing Phil Angelides for governor today, giving the treasurer a clean sweep of the leading women in California Democratic politics. Barbara Boxer and Nancy Pelosi already are on board.

Dianne Feinstein may prove to be a spineless traitor. Fearful of a radical right-wing extremist “backlash” (we’ve been LIVING in a country that’s a right-wing backlash!) she has implied that she will not support a filibuster of Judge Alito despite her belief that “If you asked me who would Alito most be like, it would probably be, I’d have to say, Scalia.” ANOTHER SCALIA IS THE WORST-CASE SCENARIO. It is GAME OVER for mainstream America and Dianne thinks this is a little joke? THIS IS NOT ABOUT QUALIFICATIONS! THIS IS ABOUT THE FUTURE NATURE OF OUR VERY COUNTRY! THIS IS ABOUT THE SUSTAINABILITY OF AMERICA AS AMERICA! She’s going to fear a radical backlash and allow the completion of the theocratic/corporate usurpation of all levels of government power by the radical right-wing extremists???
