World Tribune: Iran would become top supplier of oil to China under deal

Iran and China have been discussing a major energy deal that would involve the swap of oil for technology.

Western diplomatic sources said the two countries have been examining an agreement that would make Iran the leading oil supplier to China. The sources said the long-term deal was valued at $100 billion.

  1. So what does Flap think about the United Arab Emirates ports deal? Does he agree that this Administration giving control of major American ports to a UAE state-owned company is unwise for our national security?

    The AP says this:
    U.S. lawmakers said the UAE was an important transfer point for shipments of smuggled nuclear components sent to Iran, North Korea and Libya by a Pakistani scientist, Abdul Qadeer Khan. They also said the UAE was one of only three countries to recognize the now-toppled Taliban as Afghanistan’s legitimate government.
