I’m glad you’re addressing this port security issue. I have great respect for individuals that have a set of beliefs, be it conservatism, liberalism or libertarianism, and put country before party. I sincerely hope people on the right see this issue for what it is: once again, the Bush administration is all about cronyism and corruption – they do what is best for their friends (wealthy people and corporations), and not what is best for the nation. It’s what people on the left have been saying for five years, but an issue finally comes up that NO ONE can defend. This is a lame-duck administration that has virtually no one’s best interest at heart.
