Iran Nuclear Watch: Israel – Iran its “GREATEST THREAT”
Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni addresses the 61st session of the United Nations General Assembly at U.N. headquarters, Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006.
AP: Israel Calls Iran Its Greatest Threat
The Israeli foreign minister on Wednesday warned that Iranian leaders pose the biggest threat to the world’s values because they “speak proudly” of their wish to destroy Israel and pursue weapons to achieve that objective.
Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni told the annual U.N. General Assembly session that the international community must stand up against Iran, which she claimed is pursuing the weapons to destroy Israel, a reference to its suspect nuclear program.
“There is no greater challenge to our values than that posed by the leaders of Iran,” Livni said.
“They deny and mock the Holocaust. They speak proudly and openly of their desire to wipe Israel off the map. And now, by their actions, they pursue the weapons to achieve this objective, to imperil the region and to threaten the world.”She said Iran’s support of the Islamic militant group Hezbollah in south Lebanon showed the threat it poses to the region. The world must ensure that it enforces the U.N. Security Council resolution that ended more than a month of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, Livni said.
“There is no place for such a regime in the family of nations,” she said.
Iran is Israel’s greatest threat. If Iran develops nuclear weapon manufacturing capability, Iran will immediately warn Israel to remove its people back to some European state/location, convert to Islam or face the “FIRE” of a nuclear WMD HOLOCAUST.
Make NO MISTAKE this is Iran’s intention.
And Israel and the United States WILL NEVER allow this to happen. The United Nations/world community has been so warned.
Israel faced with ULTIMATE extinction watches with serious attention to the fecklessness of the United Nations Secuity Council and their failure to enforce UNSCR 1696. When a “POINT OF NO RETURN” is reached on Iran’s nuclear program, Israel and the United States WILL ACT militarily.
Stay tuned…….

Hugo Chavez Watch: Chavez Calls President Bush “THE DEVIL” During United Nations Speech
Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez acknowledges members of the 61st session of the United Nations General Assembly at U.N. headquarters, Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006.
AP: At U.N., Chavez calls Bush ‘the devil’
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez took his verbal battle with the United States to the floor of the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday, calling President Bush “the devil.”
The impassioned speech by the leftist leader came a day after Bush and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sparred over Tehran’s disputed nuclear program but managed to avoid a personal encounter.
“The devil came here yesterday,” Chavez said, referring to Bush’s address on Tuesday and making the sign of the cross. “He came here talking as if he were the owner of the world.”

The White House has refused comment but Flap will respond.
American people why are we listening to Marxist Latin American dictators and Islamofascists at the United Nations which derives over 25 per cent of its support from the United States?
Isn’t it time to send the United Nations out of New York and withdraw from this useless, reckless, ineffective, racist and anti-semitic institution?
Chavez’s speech was a JOKE by a smart-ass piece of shit NUTTTER-MORON dictator. Send him home and boycott Venezulean products, including its oil.

Cox & Forkum: Security Breach
Bloomberg:Iran’s President, in U.S., Calls Nuclear Issue ‘Not Important’ by Marc Wolfensberger.
Iran’s nuclear program is “not an important subject,” Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said as he arrived in New York to attend the 61st United Nations General Assembly. …Iran ignored an Aug. 31 UN Security Council deadline for the Islamic Republic to suspend its uranium enrichment, a process that can be used to make nuclear fuel or build a bomb, or face possible sanctions.
With Ahmadinejad back at the U.N., it’s important to remember what happened last time: The Mystical Menace of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad by Daniel Pipes.
When addressing the United Nations in September [2005], Mr. Ahmadinejad flummoxed his audience of world political leaders by concluding his address with a prayer for the Mahdi’s appearance: “O mighty Lord, I pray to you to hasten the emergence of your last repository, the Promised One, that perfect and pure human being, the one that will fill this world with justice and peace.”On returning to Iran from New York, Mr. Ahmadinejad recalled the effect of his U.N. speech:
one of our group told me that when I started to say “In the name of God the almighty and merciful,” he saw a light around me, and I was placed inside this aura. I felt it myself. I felt the atmosphere suddenly change, and for those 27 or 28 minutes, the leaders of the world did not blink. … And they were rapt. It seemed as if a hand was holding them there and had opened their eyes to receive the message from the Islamic republic.
No HALO this time around Ahmadinejad but…….some heat:

Iran Nuclear Watch: Iran President Ahmadinejad at the United Nations
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addresses the 61st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Ahmadinejad launched a scathing attack on the United States and Britain in the UN General Assembly, accusing them of manipulating the world body to further their ends and trying to deny his country the benefits of nuclear power.
AP: Iran Tells U.N. Nuclear Program Peaceful
Iran’s nuclear activities are “transparent, peaceful and under the watchful eye” of United Nations inspectors, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday.
Taking the world stage at the U.N. General Assembly hours after President Bush, he also some permanent members of the Security Council _ an apparent reference to the United States _ of using the powerful body as a tool of “threat and coercion.”
He reiterated his nation’s commitment to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty as it faces accusations that it is seeking to develop atomic weapons.
His speech was sharply critical of the United States and Britain, and focused in large part on what he said was their abuse of the Security Council, on which they are both permanent members with veto power.
“The question needs to be asked: if the governments of the United States or the United Kingdom, who are permanent members of the Security Council, commit aggression, occupation and violation of international law, which of the U.N. organs can take them into account,” he said.
“If they have differences with a nation or state, they drag it to the Security Council and as claimants, arrogate to themselves simultaneously the roes of prosecutor, judge and executioner,” he added said. “Is this a just order?”
Ahmadinejad is preparing the world for Iran’s defiance of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1696 that calls for Iran to halt uranium enrichment immediately (actually the deadline was August 31).
The IAEA has well documented Iran’s secret nuclear development program and their covert continuing nuclear programing including enrichment of uranium capable of being diverted to nucelar weapons production.
So, what will the United Nations Security Council do?
Will they allow a NUTTER like Ahmadinejad defy the UNSC?
Seats for the United States delegation are empty as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addresses the United Nations General Assembly at the United Nations on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006.

Flap agrees with Hugh Hewitt.
Ahmadinejad is setting up Iran to defy the Security Council, and is establishing a precedent for all future rogue regimes. If the Security Council does not rebuke this challenge and impose sanctions, the organization, teetering on the brink of irrelevance, will fall over that cliff.
Except…..
The United Nations Security Council will NEVER rebuke Iran.
When the “POINT OF NO RETURN” is reached the United States and Israel WILL prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Iran Nuclear Watch: French President Jacques Chirac Offers Iran Compromise
French President Jacques Chirac speaks during an interwiev at the French Europe1 radio studios, Monday Sept.18, 2006 in Paris. Chirac said that he has very good relations with U.S. President George W. Bush, while stressing that France cannot be submissive to the United States.
AP: French leader proposes Iran compromise
President Jacques Chirac proposed a compromise Monday to kickstart talks between Iran and the international community, suggesting the threat of U.N. sanctions be suspended in exchange for Tehran halting its uranium enrichment program.
“I don’t believe in a solution without dialogue,” Chirac said in an interview with Europe-1 radio. He suggested the international community suspend the threat of U.N. sanctions and that Iran, in turn, suspend enrichment while the two sides talk.
“I am not pessimistic,” Chirac said. “I think that Iran is a great nation, an old culture, an old civilization, and that we can find solutions through dialogue.
And what about the P-5-Plus-1 offer and the waiting game through the Big-8 summit? Did not France approve of this initiative?
Chirac is just a FECKLESS MORON who surrenders whenever there is conflict. Jacques is more afraid of his own
JihadisMuslim immigrants in France burning down Paris than an Iranian nuclear tipped missile detonating in Marseilles. The United States should abandon joint nuclear negotiations with the European Union and Iran. America should also withdraw any offer to negotiate directly with Iran over its nuclear program. The previous negotiations point to the fruitlessness of talking with Iran.
Iran manipulates the western media cycle and the Europeans and the United Nations look the fools. There is NO reason the United States should go down this path with the EU. The negotiations have been a JOKE.
Let Jacques Chirac and France take the lead in stupid unproductive negotiations while the United States build a missile defense shield and bombs the shit out of Iran’s nuclear facilities. And France?
Who cares……..

Pope Benedict XVI Watch: Nun Forgives Somalia Killers
Sister Leonella Sgorbati (L) and Sister Jana Erena attend the SOS Day celebrations in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu in this July 2, 2005 file photograph. Gunmen killed Sister Sgorbati at a children’s hospital in Mogadishu on September 17, 2006 in an attack that drew immediate speculation of links to Muslim anger over the Pope’s recent remarks on Islam. The Catholic nun’s guard also died from pistol shots in the latest attack on foreign personnel in volatile Somalia.
AP: Colleagues: Nun forgave Somalia killers
Sister Leonella, a nun who devoted her life to helping the sick in Africa, used to joke there was a bullet with her name engraved on it in Somalia. When the bullet came, she used her last breaths to forgive those responsible.
“I forgive, I forgive,” she whispered in her native Italian just before she died Sunday in the Somali capital, the Rev. Maloba Wesonga told The Associated Press at the nun’s memorial Mass in Nairobi on Monday.
Sister Leonella’s slaying raised concerns that she and other foreigners killed in Somalia recently are victims of growing Islamic radicalism in the Horn of Africa country, where a hard-line Muslim militia has been expanding its reach.
The shooting was not a random attack and could have been the Muslim anger over remarks by Pope Benedict XVI linking Islam and violence, said Willy Huber, regional head of the Austrian-financed hospital where the Roman Catholic nun worked.
Several Somalis who witnessed Sunday’s attack by two gunmen also speculated the killing was related to the pope. But Abdurahman Mohamed Farah, deputy leader of the Islamic militia, disputed that, blaming it instead on Somali warlords who were driven out of Mogadishu in June.
And what religion is one of peace, forgiveness and love?
NOT this one….
Palestinians look at a fire at the gate of an Anglican church after it was hit by a firebomb in the West Bank city of Nablus September 16, 2006. Palestinian gunmen attacked churches in the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Saturday after a day of protests against comments Pope Benedict made about Islam. Five churches came under attack in the West Bank city of Nablus, where militant groups have long been the dominating force.
Or this one,,,,,
God Be with Sister Leonella Sgorbati.
Catholic Christians pray for nun Sister Leonella at the Holy Family Basillica in Nairobi, Monday, Sept. 18, 2006. The elderly nun who was gunned down at the hospital where she worked in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu was ‘specifically targeted before being executed by gunmen lying in wait,’ a hospital official said Monday.
