Mike Huckabee,  Mitt Romney,  President 2008

Guess Mike Huckabee is Going Negative

Ed Rollins, left, newly appointed national campaign chairman for Republican Presidential hopeful, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, center, talks to media in Concord, N.H., in this Dec. 14, 2007, file photo. Rollins, 64, who likes to compare himself to a boxer and a ‘bare knuckles’ brawler, is widely acknowledged as an architect of Reagan’s 1984 re-election victory, a 49-state landslide; but he’s also known for far less successful exploits – some would say stunts.

Nice guys finish last, eh, Huck?

“We’re going to see if we can’t take Romney out,” Mr. Rollins said. “We like John. Nobody likes Romney.”

Nobody likes Huck much anymore either unless you are an Evangelical.

Mike Huckabee would never be able to reconcile the GOP to his candidacy should he win the nomination. A 50 state win for Obama or Hillary.

Rollins is an ass. He has said that Rudy is done and that he has no money. Wrong on both counts.

By the way, I think McCain will crush Romney in New Hampshire. I have also heard that the Romney campaign is making select calls to south Florida linking Rudy’s law firm to lobbying for Citgo, claiming that the company is owned by Chavez of Venezuela.

Not only did the law firm cease all legal work for Citgo, but the company is not owned Chavez. Citgo employes some 100,000 people in this country.

Romney is the absolute worst kind of politician.

I think McCain may defeat Romney in New Hampshire but it won’t be by a large margin. Then, it is off to Michigan where Huckabee is more in play and Democrats may vote in the GOP primary.

Nothing will be decided until February 5th.

Romney has the money to hang on. McCain and Huckabee do not.
