Matt Drudge sure likes to stick the knife into the Clintons:

NYT TUESDAY: CLINTON INSIDERS, DONORS FEAR ELECTION ‘SLIPPING AWAY’

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and her advisers are increasingly concerned that she could be on a “precipitous losing streak” in nomination contests this month that could “endanger her competitiveness in the upcoming votes in Ohio and Texas” on March 4, the NEW YORK TIMES is planning to report on Tuesday, newsroom sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

Reporter Patrick Healy was polishing up a story which details how Clinton’s losses last weekend in Washington, Nebraska, Louisiana and Maine have thrown her campaign “into a state of anxiety not seen since her drubbing in the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 3, with major donors and supporters saying for the first time that they are deeply worried that the Democratic nomination may be slipping from her grasp.”

But, Obama has won mostly small, less populated states that usually vote GOP – in other words Red States. Hillary has won the big Dem states of New York, California and New Jersey.

This campaign will go down to the wire and to the glee of John McCain and the GOP.

You know, Obama’s margins of victories in the red states make me kinda uneasy. He just might thrash Clinton in Texas too, inspite of Latino support for Clinton. And if he’s so got so much of an upper hand with the Democrats’ moderate voters in red states, McCain might find him much more harder to beat than Hillary Clinton.

It will be difficult for McCain to beat whomever the Dem nominee is. But, I think in the South and Midwest border states Obama will be easier for McCain.

Plus, California could be in play should Obama receive the nod because the Hispanics will not vote for him.

I’m not too thrilled about McCain OR Obama, but I am glad to see that Hillary’s White House experience will (probably) be limited to Bill’s terms in office. I think McCain is fighting an uphill battle in the general election, because he isn’t too popular with the Republican base and the Democrats are incredibly motivated to get out and vote against whoever has an R next to their name.

I agree it will be an uphill battle by McCain to retain the Presidency for the GOP. Hillary would be a much better candidate for McCain to run against.

Will she be able to win Texas,Ohio and Pennsylvnaia and pull out a win?

Im not too impressed with any candidates that we have, But I tend to favor Obama over Hillary just because of Bill Clinton in the White House. It really doesn’t matter who gets in the White House, Its the Congress and House that make all the decisions. They blamed Bush for going to war, but it is the idiot Congress and House that okayed it. I feel the President gets the blame for the goof ups of the others.
