John McCain Exceptionalism is Wishful Thinking

Michael Ramirez on John McCain

Bill Kristol this morning exudes WISHFUL THINKING on a John McCain EXCEPTIONALISM retaining the Presidency for the GOP. His analysis is sugary sweet and written while on Prozac.

Team McCain has shown NO unifying theme and there is talk about the “Maverick” and rebranding the GOP as McCain ROBS the coffers of the national party. This is not a winning combination.

McCain’s success at the polls may depend on the anti-Obama vote and this year the GOP may have to be content with it.

Kristol has been in the tank for McCain since the 2000 campaign. Kristol reminds of the an effete easterner who has
never done a real day’s work in his life. It is becoming evident to me that McCain will need a great amount of luck to
    win the general election.

Did you catch Huckabee’s plea on Meet the Press to be McCain’s running mate? Only Romney would be a worse choice
    than the kunckle dragging Huckabee.

McCain in order to win will have to play to the GOP base and attack Obama over and over.

I doubt he has the fortitude to do it.

He will lose big time if he doesn’t – just like Bob Dole.

If Huckabee or Romney are chosen as VP, McCain is finished.
