The Democrat prospect of more women voters disappeared with the collapse of the Hillary Clinton Presidential candidacy. Flap doubts that Barack Obama will be able to inspire the legions of women to turn out and vote as Hillary could.

But, in a tough GOP year with an unpopular President, will Barack be able to register and turn out sufficient numbers in other demographics to compensate?

Only thing I want to ask is why Obama hired Patti Solis-Doyle, if you look at it from a merit point of view. I mean, this is a woman who just presided over a rout, and was then fired. Is he taking her on, so she’ll give up Hillary’s secrets, or is there another explanation?

Obama is pandering to Hillary’s Hispanic demographic. Obama has a racial problem with Hispanics in the West and will use his Vice President (for whom Solis Doyle will work) to shore up support in Nevada and New Mexico.
