Hillary Clinton Watch: I Never Said It
Hillary Clinton today denied that she told Governor Bill Richardson, D-N.M., that her Democratic nomination rival, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., “cannot win” a general election against presumptive Republican nominee, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
Why, of course, she will deny it after the Drudge headline from yesterday and the story is out.
And, she is right that her candidacy matches up better than Obama. In the meantime, the GOP is licking its chops to run against Barack Obama.

Air America Radio’s Randi Rhodes Suspended for Calling Hillary Clinton a Whore

Randi Rhodes in San Francisco Calls Geraldine Ferraro and Hillary Clinton whores
Air America suspended talk show host Randi Rhodes for the above remarks where she called former Congresswoman and Democrat Vice President nominee and Senator Hillary Clinton a whore.
Randi Rhodes, an afternoon host for the progressive Air America radio network, was suspended Thursday after repeatedly insulting Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton at an event last month.
Ms. Rhodes used vulgar language that likened Mrs. Clinton to a prostitute at an event sponsored by KKGN, the Air America affiliate in the San Francisco area, on March 22. A video of Ms. Rhodes’ remarks was published to the video-sharing Web site YouTube on Tuesday, prompting condemnations by some bloggers.
And, they wonder why progressive talk radio cannot sell advertising…….

Missile Defense Watch: Bush Wins NATO Endorsement of European Missile Defense Shield
President George Bush today won NATO’s endorsement of his proposed missile defense shield for Europe despite Russia’s opposition.
President Bush won NATO’s endorsement Thursday for his plan to build a missile defense system in Europe over Russian objections. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice called it a “breakthrough agreement” for the military alliance.
“Now it is clearly understood in the alliance that the challenges of the 21st century, the threats of the 21st century, make it necessary to have missile defense that can defend the countries of Europe,” Rice told reporters at the NATO summit.
Progress on missile defense represented perhaps the biggest boon to Bush from the NATO summit. Russia has fiercely opposed it.
Rice also noted that NATO has “also asked Russia to stop its criticism of the alliance effort and to join in the cooperative efforts that have been offered to it by the United States.”
A NATO statement calls on the alliance to explore ways in which the planned U.S. project, to be based in Poland and the Czech Republic, can be linked with future missile shields elsewhere. It says leaders should come up with recommendations to be considered at their next meeting in 2009.
The U.S. plan calls for 10 interceptor missiles based in Poland and a tracking radar site in the Czech Republic.
Kudos to the President for his steady support for missile defense for the United States and her allies.

John McCain Watch: Jane Fonda Endorses Barack Obama
John McCain is administered to in a Hanoi, Vietnam hospital as a prisoner of war in the fall of 1967. McCain spent 20 years in the Navy, a quarter of it in a Vietnamese prisoner of war camp. On Oct. 26, 1967, McCain’s jet was shot down over Hanoi during a bombing mission. AP Photo
Hanoi Jane Fonda has endorsed Barack Obama for President.Obama, who was recently named the most liberal member of the Senate by the nonpartisan National Journal, has sought to portray himself as the earliest anti-Iraq war opponent and tagged his sole remaining opponent, Sen. Hillary Clinton, with voting to authorize the use of force in Iraq.
The problem for those of a certain generation that endured the Vietnam War and the sometimes violent domestic conflict that accompanied it at home is that during Fonda’s controversial wartime visit to North Vietnam, she was photographed at a Communist anti-aircraft gun battery.
According to the photo caption distributed at the time, she joined North Vietnamese soldiers there in singing an antiwar song while preparing to shoot at attacking Americans.
And, here is Jane Fonda in some photos showing her cavorting and joking around with the North Vietnamese who were trying to KILL American soldiers and pilots.
Jane Fonda is a TRAITOR and her support of Barack Obama is her right but it is TOXIC.
Team McCain will NOW how an easier time in framing Obama as a far-left fringe candidate. Thanks Jane.
