From the press release:

The most recent financial data from the 19th District State Senate campaign reveals that Tony Strickland is enjoying a lopsided advantage over opponent Hannah-Beth Jackson. In the last filing period, from May 18 through June 30, Strickland raised almost a million dollars pulling in $946,577 while his opponent raised $169,566, an advantage of more than five to one.

Since January 2008, Strickland has raised $1,135,582.21 to Jackson’s $371,240.46 and his nearly $1.3 million cash-on-hand is a significant advantage over the $406,569.50 of Jackson.

The fundraising trend follows a primary election vote advantage of almost 4,500 for Strickland who has appealed to a broad spectrum of the electorate with his strong record of independent leadership and his role in advancing renewable energy sources as Vice President of GreenWave Energy Solutions, a wave energy company.

The Democrats have not yet begun to show their hand in this pivotal California State Senate race. Believe Flap when he tells you that the California Democrat Party will spend $ millions in the Fall to win this seat and perhaps a Gubernatorial veto proof majority in the California State Senate.

The transfers from the Democrat party apparatchik will come fast and heavy and from all of the usual sources, especially the trial lawyers and public employee unions.

Tony Strickland has mad a good start but will have to raise much more to pay for media. When you get a chance go here and send Tony a few bucks.
