Barack Obama Watch: Clinton Tensions in Denver

Michael Ramirez on the Democrat National Convention in Denver

Barack Obama having tensions with the Clintons? No, there should be NO tensions.

Right?

Interesting factoid: …large numbers of Clinton backers — 30 percent in a recent ABC/Washington Post poll — are still not backing Obama over McCain.

And……

A Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll found 52% of respondents who voted for Sen. Clinton in the primaries plan to vote for Sen. Obama and 21% plan to vote for Sen. McCain.

“She inspired young women and people all over America and I think she deserves credit for running a very good campaign,” Sen. McCain told a Clinton supporter during a recent town-hall meeting in York, Pa.

Sunday morning, the McCain campaign began airing an ad questioning why Sen. Obama didn’t choose Sen. Clinton as his running mate.

The Clinton Cabal is now slowly at work undermining the Barack Obama convention. Both Clintons will deliver unifying speeches but McCain can help himself and the Clintons by undercutting Obama by “leaking” the name of a woman Vice Presidenital nominee, like Governor Sarah Palin or Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison prior to the Thursday night’s Obama coronation.

Stay tuned…….

Despite the Dems and the allied main stream media’s desperation to see Romney as McCain’s Veep, Mitt is clearly out, with (1) Obama doubling down on the class warfare theme (McCain’s 7 houses) and (2) McCain doubling down with ads showing the hypocrisy of Biden attacking Obama in the primaries — Romney did way more than that contra McCain.

This leaves only Govs Sarah Palin and Tim Pawlenty. Pro-abortion Ridge and Dem-Lieberman were never real considerations, despite relentless media goading. Pawlenty’s lackluster TV performances, coupled with Palin pizzazz, the primacy of oil drilling and the ticked off women/Hillary voters, does now portend a McCain/Palin checkmate on the Dems. This is so albeit the Dems and liberal media dare not mention Palin’s name, that is, everyone but…..

And if there’s any question as to Palin being uniquely positioned and able to more than nullify Biden in debate, see the excellent discussion at palinforvp.blogspot.com

    Team McCain, well done!!!

I read Bill Clinton is miffed because he won’t get to speak about his Presidency. These Clintons don’t back off easy, do they? Even if Obama wins in November, they’ll be undermining him all the way to 2016. And if he loses to McCain, well, then, they can say – “We told you so.”
