Sarah Palin Watch: News Organizations “On a Mission To Destroy”

sarahpalinfeedingfrenzy

The Sarah Palin media “feeding frenzy’ has reached crescendo levels and now Team McCain and the GOP are pushing back.

Sen. John McCain’s top campaign strategist accused the news media Tuesday of being “on a mission to destroy” Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin by displaying “a level of viciousness and scurrilousness” in pursuing questions about her personal life.

In an extraordinary and emotional interview, Steve Schmidt said his campaign feels “under siege” by wave after wave of news inquiries that have questioned whether Palin is really the mother of a 4-month-old baby, whether her amniotic fluid had been tested and whether she would submit to a DNA test to establish the child’s parentage.

Arguing that the media queries are being fueled by “every rumor and smear” posted on left-wing Web sites, Schmidt said mainstream journalists are giving “closer scrutiny” to McCain’s little-known running mate than to Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

But, what else is new? The traditional MSM news organizations are LEFT WING all of the time and are in the tank for the Democrat Party and Barack Obama. Remember the John Edward’s story that the MSM ignored for years? Even while Edwards was running for the Presidency?

This is not news but a fact.

Why does anyone think talk radio, Fox News and the RIGHT blogosphere developed?

The LEFT feels threatened by the McCain-Palin team and will do anything and everything to destroy them, including pursuading and perverting MSM news organizations to spread the smears.

Get used to it – more is coming.

Here is an example:

fox news is basically a tool for the conservatives. i watch it for laughs now.
why would the left feel threatened when the democrats are guareenteed to win in a landslide. i think mccain will regret his discission to let the conservatives dictate his VP.

Then why is the left so relentless in slamming Palin?

Guess the Democrats are not so assured of a landslide as you.

By the way, sassinfras, you are from Queensland, Australia and use different names to hide your identity.

Why are you hiding who you are?

I loved the reporter saying he wasnt going to debate him. Heh, there really isnt anything he could have said to respond with. My favorite has been hearing the claim that Obama’s “executive” experience is in running his campaign. Palin is more qualified than Obama by a landslide…yet if you repeat a lie often enough….it gets believed.

p.s. My personal opinion is that Obama might be able to eek out a victory. But it would be close. McCain might eek out a victory himself or very possibly win in a Landslide. Obama has no chance to pull off a landslide victory. If I was a betting man, at this point I would say 1/3 Obama close victory, 1/3 McCain close victory, 1/3 McCain blowout.

Well, I should have been more clear. You are right…short of an act of God there is no way McCain pulls off states like CA and NY. I would have to look at a map but probably 190ish or so E Votes are going for Obama no matter what and another 30 or so are pretty much guarenteed also. By blowout I was talking more about popular vote (which is actually pretty irrelevant all things considered because its Electoral votes that matter). And by blowout, I would say 55+% of the popular vote. Guess that wouldnt be a true blowout but decisive none the less. No way Obama is getting those numbers.

p.s. Has any US President won with 55+% of the popular vote since ’88? I could be wrong but I dont think so.

p.p.s. I am not a strong McCain supporter by any stretch of the imagination. I just feel that Obama is without a doubt the single worst Presidential candidate we have had in my living memory.
